  • WWE Cruiserweights > TNA X-Division

  • kash looks exactly like drew mcintyre

  • I liked the CW Division back then...man i was so pissed when kid kash wasnt in germany in april 2006.

  • good old days when vince actually took the time to build a great cruiserweight stable compared to the light heavyweight days. Juventud, supercrazy, psycosis, jamie noble, nunzio, rey mysterio, spike, funaki, shane helms, spanky, paul london, kid kash, tajiri. Im sure i'm missing some more names X-pac would have been great in this.

  • @Paintinprettypicture and Kidman!

  • kid kash theme song like jamie noble theme song..

  • lol the all kinda look like midgets

  • @BigOSean have you seen a 6'4 cruiserweight before? no. what do you expect there all under 220

  • this is the cruiserweight division at its best right here

  • i love funaki he is so funny when he sung sexy boy with yoshi tatsu

  • I say they should bring back the old wwe

  • Bring back the Cruiserweight title. NOW.

  • @MrDCWood

People apparently have a short memory. No one gave a damn about the cruiserweight title then.

  • @AmericanNohbuddy

So guys like Kid Kash, Paul London, Super Crazy, Jamie Noble and Gregory Helms - who held it for over a year - meant absolutely nothing to people? Guys who put on great matches with spectacular moves 'didn't matter?'

I find that VERY difficult to believe.

  • @MrDCWood

If you were actually watching Smackdown during those years you'd see they barley got a pop. This match was rare since they just did a spot fest.

You hear that reaction Kid Kash got coming out? Or when he won the title a month before?

Also Super Crazy didn't win the title, Juvientud Guerrera did. That just shows me you DIDN'T watch it.

  • @AmericanNohbuddy

Don't insult my knowledge, idiot. I remember full damn well that Juventud was the only one of the Mexicools to capture WWE gold, when he traded the cruiserweight title with Nunzio back in 2005, then lost it to Kash at Armageddon. I was pointing out those guys as phenomenal talents, and I know that the division's final years weren't as popular as its heyday.

You say 'no one' cared about it back in 2006? Look at the comments below. People STILL cared, and you're exagerrating

  • @MrDCWood

People care NOW (because they haven't had it in 4 years) but not back then. I remember people calling for it to end.

WWE only cared when Mysterio was champion, which was it's heyday. After Mysterio, and before, no one cared.

The WWF Light Heavyweight title was also a total joke.

I'll believe WWE would care about that division and title and make it mean something when I see it.

  • @AmericanNohbuddy

Granted, Mysterio was the face of the Cruiserweight division in WWE, but I maintain that they still held the division in high regard when Chavo Guerrero and Gregory Helms had the belt. Helms because he had the longest reign in history, Chavo because of his feuds with Rey and Eddie, and his last name.

Needless to say, WWE stopped caring when Helms unceremoniously lost the strap, and they ludicrously made FUCKING HORNSWOGGLE champion, which killed and buried it good and proper.

  • @MrDCWood

LOL no they didn't. Chavo and Helms did NOTHING as champion. They gave Helms a year long reign because they had no idea what to do with it.

During Helms' run nothing happened at all.The crowd didn't care, nor did WWE. WWE never cared for the cruiserweights.

You just keep showing you have no clue what you're talking about since you obviously didn't watch Smackdown during those years.

  • @AmericanNohbuddy

I've watched Wrestling since I was six years old. And that includes SmackDown since its inception to present day. I KNOW what I've seen and what I'm talking about. So go be a mark to someone else, you condescending prick.

  • @MrDCWood

So you must be 10 then since you obviously don't remember the lack of crowd reaction, the lack of actual story lines substance, etc.

The crowd cared so much for Paul London and Nunzio being champion LOL.

  • @AmericanNohbuddy

"I must be 10" How cute. Then I guess I can't remember Rey Mysterio vs Chavo Guerrero at No Way Out 2004, which had actual build-up, hype, interference from Chavo Guerrero Snr. and Jorge Páez...

No, wait a minute. That's YOU.

The retard who lost whatever credibility he had when he said "NO ONE Cared about the Cruiserweights." Meaning "AT ALL" lol

  • @MrDCWood

Notice the common denominator: Mysterio. Who I referenced as the only point where fans and WWE really cared.

Noticing exaggerations aren't your strong suit either. Nunzio was vastly over as champion, wasn't he? Same for London? Funaki? Juvi? Kid Kash? Helms? Sure they were.

If WWE makes the cruiserweights actually MATTER then I'd be happy. But they don't have a good track record when dealing with Light Heavyweights/Cruiserweights.

  • @AmericanNohbuddy

Alright, last comment. Yes, in its final years, the division was nowhere near what it once was. Spike, Nunzio, London, Funaki, Juvi, & Kash each had the belt...& that was it. I still maintain that Helms was the only one who was over. Not vastly over, but more so than his predecessors.

And the Light Heavyweight title? YES, I agree with you. WWF really dropped the ball. When Taka Michinoku was champ, awesome. After he lost it, WWF never truly got behind the division ever again.

  • @MrDCWood

Helms wasn't over. He didn't do anything as champion. The reason they gave him a year long reign is because they had NOTHING for him. That is a fact.

  • @AmericanNohbuddy shut up ur ten and the crusierweights get more respect and are more over than your john cena

  • I know

  • the crusierweight division was the only reason i watch wrestling because it would be more entertaining then all the other matches. ever since they got rid of it i stopped watching it

  • Kid Kash was the perfect cruiserweight heel.....Gregory Helms was good but Kash is waaaaaaaaay better

  • what the wee titles should be

RAW: WORLD TAG TEAM, IC, WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT

SMACKDOWN: CRUISERWEIGHT, WWE TAG TEAM, AND WWE CHAMPIONSHIP

  • i swear to god its like the wwe is trying to suck now!

  • I forgot all about Kid Kash lol

  • wwe needs the cruiserweight title back

  • @karan6 I agree, I miss it

  • @karan6

Why? On TV WWE didn't care about it. This was just a rare good match because they gave them 8 minutes.

  • get rid of the united states championship if anything. FFS

  • Back when wwe had brand supremacy and a cruiserweight division can u imagine there cruiserweight division now? SinCara Yoshi Rey Kidd Primo chavo barreta bryan rhodes hawkins dibiase bourne usos slater gabriel ryder kofi etc smh

  • WWE Cruiserweight & Hardcore Champions > WWE Championship

Atleast the ones who compete for that title has more than 5 moves .....

  • @Herkumi haha I guess you're talking about Cena. Even divas like Lita, Molly Holly and Trish are way better wrestlers than him. Cena is just a (bad) actor on steroids. But kids love him so he brings money to the company, and that's the only thing that matters to Vince McMahon.

  • that was so gay the paul london dive it didn't hit the two guys on the right but they fell

  • i miss all of these wrestlers........sigh

  • I love this match, I dont even know how many times I watched this

  • London looks like the vocalist of RHCP,.. :)

  • We Love Jobbers!

  • what with all the empty seats

  • i love how the crowd reeact after every move now the wwe crowd are fucking sheeps

  • I miss the old smackdown :(

  • @AbbzzyLOL yeah man, mee too .... and now i miss the Cruserweight, european and hardgore title ...

  • none of these guys are in wwe any more

  • @Hedo2415 funaki is still in wwe as kung fu naki he always in dark matches when you go to the show live.

  • @WeAreOneNexus

    no he was fired

  • Why would the wwe get rid of the cruiserweight division. It was the reason why alot of people would tune into smackdown

  • @ChikinMcNuggets Cause of Rey he bitched about how he wanted to be World Heavyweight Champion so WWE Got rid of cruserweight's because of rey mysterio is in real life a whiney bitch

  • @RobertDidszuhn heh rey said he wanted a world title shot and anyway they didnt dich the title too 2008 so dont blame rey dumbass faggot stick

  • @ChikinMcNuggets The Cruiserweight weren't getting draws after Rey moved to the main event division.

  • lol Helms first match on Smackdown, he lost the cruiserweight championship, returned to Smackdown and again he already was the cruiserweight champion

  • This is when Helms greatness began but sadly he got injured and the title became a joke.

  • i heard kid kash partially was fired due to his jesus tattoo..

  • Kash's run in WWe was sad. HE takes the belt of Juvy just because WWE was sick of him, majority of his move set was banned, he drops the belt w/o ever getting pinned or getting a rematch. Then is a horrid knock off of the pitbulls. HE should go back to TNA they need talent in the x division badly

  • More stupid Michael Cole commentary: Starting @ 4:32, Cole says they're at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, FL, 16000 strong, Standing room only. They're at a stadium, of course it isn't standing room only!
