Too bad a company will fire you in a heartbeat without notice. Why give them notice unless you have loose ends tie up before leaving. I challenge this by asking: Isn't it a better idea to suffer through a few more days in order to tie up loose ends at work and get everything in order so that you can quit on the spot and be able to say 'I've taken care of everything that needed to be done before I go'? Wouldnt that look good too, and give you 2 weeks more to be looking for that next job?
