I happen to love the old and the new Anathema. I also don't think you make your point in "dishing" old Anathema. It's an essential part of Anathema or any good band. Not having it would be like skiping puberty and going right to adulthood, which is a very typical shallow atitude in music today - the"do it fast and profitable and dont change it" days. It would also make me feel less connected to the band.

I'm lucky for growing up along with this band! Their music is a part of me, old and new.

one of the old songs that work perfect with vinnies voice, like angelica. Not all old songs work perfect, but that doesnt matter, their newer stuff after "alternative 4" is brillant as well. In fact both, old and newer Anathema are the best band ever!
