  • Born and raised here,still here and never want to leave, the weather is fine if you dress for it and we have lots of untouched land that is as pristine as God meant it to be :)

  • see a lot of homes there, is main street big? is there a heavy police presence or can you just kick back and bonfire party where ever. I know sometimes when you go into town if your from another country or w/e the cops might not like you there. Less cops=less problems.

  • its a small city but its very nice, I rode on the mini trains around it for 2 bucks, I had to walkin the rain 9 blocks just to get pizza, I ate in teh salmon shop thing with the fish shaped dish, and I also walked around fishladder and got lost in the forest, I also got up to miles canyon for 10 min. only cuz of my parents cheapness, I also met this taxi driver who looks scary bits a nice guy. a bus driver that looks like a small elf or santa. Goood memories..

  • i was born in the yukon and raisd in dezdeash lived of the land the city isnt that great but the land in amazing lots of fishing traping and hunting my granpa is art papineau you might know him

  • its is not that small this clip only shows downtown,,,,there is more....i am not from whitehorse but have lived there for over 10 yrs, and loved everday i lived there...i use to party lots were this was being filmed...clay cliffs.....

  • neither have I, I live in calgary alberta, thats my dad's friend that lives in whitehorse. He says u get used to the weather eventually in the winter, and its a real quiet and peaceful town. =) I dont think whitehorse is even that cold compared to some places like nunavut.

  • my friend,Chloe,livs in Whitehorse.most people think that its always FREEZING,but its not!they have snow in the winter and warm weather in the summer.its a very beautiful town and very friendly too.

  • well I have never been in Whitehorse but I live in BC,Whitehorse has a population of 29 959 People that was counted in 2005!

    close to 30 000 not bad and in 1981 it was 21 254 on the report not bad the population of this nice small cities in the north is growing!

  • ya, Whitehorse is mostly built on a sandbar, and there is a considerable amount of water that flows under the city. If there was an earthquake there would problems if a building was over 4 storeys

  • The Yukon is quite small population-wise. Yes, Whitehorse is the largest city there. It's a beautiful city, too. We vacationed there last summer.

  • This is only the downtown business part of town. There are many other residential areas and burbs.

  • Oh plus that's really just a smidge of White horse, there's so much more to it. It's actualy one of the biggest citys (area wise) in Canada- actualy I remeber walking that exact trail with my dad when I was younger, look out over the City
