They are always in use.

listen. go into "create a class" (unlocked in grade 4). once you have that, choose your primary weapon, attatchment, and camo. then choose your sidearm. then, pick your special grenade. after that, you will have three slots with "perks" written on top. click on these three and pick from the individual lists the perks you wish to use. once you have chosen, rename this class and use it. all perks should be in use.

i really dont understand the point of it though.... i've never heard people moving... and i've been snuck up on and havn't heard a thing even when they don't have dead silence as their perk.... thats y i dont use it

Like most people already mentioned in anything except Hardcore Search and Destroy this perk is somewhat useless. BUT in Hardcore Search and Destroy where the pace is usually must slower and more tactical, this perk is a major advantage. I used to use Extreme Conditioning but now favor Dead Silence over it. So many times I have snuck up on people, or been the last one alive on my team and taken out the other team just because of this perk.

I get so pissed off when I get killed by a guy who's using a silencer and a uav jammer. It is super effective though. Honestly I can never hear someone sneaking up on me even if they don't have dead silence.

The Last and Worst Perk in the game. Spend it on Extreme Conditioning if you want a Stealth Class.

this is completely worthless... in a real multiplayer game there is so much noise from gunshots, grenades, air strikes and helicopters that you can't hear footsteps anyway. stabbing people is easy enough.

Strong setup, I use same for Domination on Vacant, but swap Extreme C for Dead Silence [Domination is so loud, there's little point to DS]
