My Cousin Theresa lives in Dickson. I wonder if your sirens drive her nuts. lol. The next time I'm on the phone with her, I'm going to ask her. I myself, could listen to these sirens all day long. Keep posting these great videos !

Did you have to apply for a permit to put that siren up and run it during Tornado Warnings and monthly tests?? What did your local EMA say about that?

@LinuxFan2011 The siren only roars away when there is a tornado warning issued for my location and for the usual monthly test. And Armageddon, of course lol.

I walked sort-of near one where I live last September, I thought my ears were going to explode. I recorded it with my camera maybe a football field distance from me, and when the initial end of the speaker came my direction, I want to say I "felt it", like a vibration, maybe it was my ears saying "hey, genius, move away"... didn't even help that I poorly wore long pants as it was very humid out.

The siren here looks about like the one near me, only ours didn't/doesn't move as fast as this
