Ricky is a beautiful baby.. my daughter is 5 years old with autism and she is curently going to school in tijuana bc although shes an american citizen.. im so glad all these children are getting all the help and support they can get from doctors and specialist.. i cant say the same for Mia.. as i write this i feel a knot on my throat. i

@BeelineGal Yes. the self-injurious behavior we were informed may be related to sensory issues. But since he started ABA. He's made huge progres and its calmed down alot. thanks for your comment.
I am specializing in ASD and concerning your son hitting himself in the head....autistic child can engage in something called self-injurious behavior. This means that they will repeatedly hit themselves for no reason. Often times them seem like they are in no pain, but that is because they suffer from a deficit in communication so they have no way of saying "ow, it hurts." ABA can be a great way to help get his hitting his head under control.
@SuperMissblueeyes It IS difficult to be sure. but I kept fighting and pushing all the doctors that kept telling me its too early. I finally got the diagnosis (before he turned 2). And he is now doing ABA Therapy daily. and is making so much improvement! There are some videos of his therapy sessions. He is the bestest and cutest ever. Thanks!
He's so cute. It's difficult to be sure it's autism before 2yrs old as there are other possible explanations for this behaviour, so I can understand why the doctors are being cautious. This baby is being attacked. BABIES attacked by Alberta Children's Services cause them to be harmed as this child is being harmed. He makes efforts to communicate tries to get the PIGs attention BUT the pig won't be pleased. The filthy bitch refuses him. He comforts himself by ROCKING head banging and the DIRTY bitch calls him Autistic. MEAN dirty bitch & child hater if she didn't want to pick up babies WHORE shouldn't have one. SICK MORMON PIGS are rejected by babies who are SPOILED with LOVE

The DIRTY bitches at Alberta Children's Services FORCE WOMEN to let their PIGS care for their babies starting at eight months and the babies are HATED by the care givers and refused care then hated and attacked some more. All love to baby is considered spoiling.This baby has maternal deprivation.

Logan did this some too. He also head bangs but it is getting less frequent thank goodness. We also have a problem with him biting himself and others.

yes he is different. He is hitting himself and not looking at the other kids or his mom. I don't usually see babies do this.
