* It's a bit like a carpet for the desk, so it's more comfortable to rest your arms on the desk

* It looks great

First off, the destructor is a plastic surface. The Ripper XXL is a cloth top pad. Second, the Destructor is like forty bucks where the XXL is like $25 bucks. Apples and oranges dude.

Its more of a desk upgrade to be exact. Something to hold your keyboard in place while you have a surface for your mouse.

It also helps quiet your desktop surface. It's hard to really explain... you just need to try it then you'll see for yourself.
