Though you can say KFC needs to keep close eyes on slaughterhouses, you can't claim they are operating this facility. They own no slaughterhouses, buying their food from suppliers. Though you can say KFC needs to keep close eyes on slaughterhouses, you can't claim they are operating this facility. They own no slaughterhouses, buying their food from suppliers. THEY are DIRECTLY responsible, KFC is second hand responsibility, seems mundane, but a very intellectually important distinction, IMO.

Okay, if we set up a 5* place for chickens to live in, then the prices of chickens are gonna go up. Then what's everyone gonna say? I bet I'm gonna hear a whole lot of bitchin' about how a ten piece KFC bucket costs $50. And it's not the companies criteria to treat animals like this, it's the individual workers that are fucked up. I have an idea, why don't PETA supporters go work for Tyson or whatever, then they can treat the chickens good like they want to. No? That's what I thought.

The only thing we have over animals is technology.
Animals have homes, families, friends. They communicate with each other, clean their houses, find mates. Find food to bring home. We aren't that different.
How would you feel to eat a human burger? Wear a coat made out of human skin? Sit on a couch of human skin? It'd be pretty fucked.

@rarelegend you are right, animals aren't nice in the wild.. but they are animals and only kill what they need for survival.. We kill constantly and what we can't finish, we throw away.. And killing of animals is a natural thing, we've been doing so since the beginning but since then we have evolved and found more painless way's of killing animals so if we want to call ourselfs humans and not animals we should use them.

That they are crammed together, live in their own shit, never see the daylight, are treated like shit, their beaks are cut off, pumped with hormones to force them to lay more eegs the list goes on

Their beaks are trimmed (not cut off) so they won't peck each-other to death. Dead and injured chickens are of no value to the owners.
