  • MERVEILLEUX ... simplement !!!

  • Pink floyd and Porcupine tree are my favorite bands haha. Both absolutely gorgeous.

  • My favourite part of this exquisit suite (:

  • PT is so far beyond pink floyd its not even funny...

  • I commend whoever made this video..

  • elle esse dee

  • This song makes me cry, literally.

  • It's too bad the light show isn't in higher resolution... still awesome though!

  • Can you tell me where you've found the liquid light show, please?

    I'd be so happy/trippy :D

  • Fantastic !!!!!!!!

  • I LOVE THIS

  • 1:19, thats alex grey's artwork (artist from the band Tool.)

  • Oh man, I need to get this album

  • @sixfives Slacker - Scared. Does anyone know the origin of that sample?

  • @tdmusic hey do you know whose voice is this? its the one that talks in the live version of "Third Eye" by Tool.

  • Its Timothy Leary and its taken from his "You Can Be Anyone This Time Around" and "LSD" LPs

  • @tdmusic I think it was from some LSD propaganda LP's, which are very hard (if not impossible) to get :s

  • brilliant selection of video to accompany this track!

  • A girl would understand me, and i will write this for our own good:

having heard this and having listening to PT's old stuff for two hours non fucking stop, i just had a drop of wetness seen on my jeans.. sexless sex culmination...

oh, and my LSD is PT!

  • open the pod bay doors please hal...

  • how about Phase IV.. i found it on grooveshark.

does anyone know what this text is.. the same guy that talks in some tool songs, as well as these masterpieces.. where to find the whole thing?

  • 4:50 is pink floydish :)

  • how awesome is this?

  • its artists tribute to pf i think,as being probably influenced by the band...to me it was always something i wouldnt mind pink floyd to have made...they didnt so thanks steven...

  • where can you buy this album??

  • I've always loved these tracks from PT. I do wish they had made "Up the Downstair" a double album as Steven originally wanted to, because these tracks would've made that album even more magnificent. Also...what in the hell is that clip at 6:04? I was so engaged in the peaceful music and imagery and then that specific clip comes out of no where and scares the crap out of me. :D

  • @Timetakesusall Ohhh 2001 ASO. Nevermind.

  • I like the music but I must say I get annoyed with the people talking... specially for how they say what they say etc... I hope I'm not alone cuz I don't wanna sound like a douche bag :|

  • @ridethesky1 the people talking is a part of the music

  • And sometimes it sounds like A Plague of Lighthouse Keepers by Van der Graaf Generator ;)

  • this is psytrance

  • DAMN Brilliance....Porcupine is the TRU religion...

  • Awesome!

  • This is such an awesome track. Which album is this off of?

  • Voyage 34

  • lol, this is from the album 'Voyage 34', by Porcupine Tree. This is the first half of the second track on the album.

  • lol, this is from the album 'Voyage 34', by Porcupine Tree. This is the first half of the second track on the album.

  • This video is spectacular when you're on LSD.

  • I'm prob gonna get a bad trip watching this, Alex.

  • Not even, I was having a bad time watching Superjail, then I watched this and was just like, YEAH.

  • Hmmm, I'll try it next time.. with christine. Lol

  • I wanna be theeeeere.

  • Gahahah no.

You're just gonna mess with us. Like Jesse did with me the first time. he's an assholeeee

  • I'm not an asshole. :(

  • Incredible song to trip to. I can be having a terrible trip and as soon as i put this song on i begin to enjoy it. Amazing how much music effects the mind.

  • FLOYD IS HERE!! I CAN FEEL IT

  • awesome

  • Listened to Voyage 34 the first time while falling asleep last night. I didn't see colors like I was tripping, but I could tell that my mind was messing with me. Love music with that kind of power.

  • you should totally post the second part of Phase II. I went ahead and uploaded Phase III, since no one else has done it yet.

  • I have thought about trying to complete the song and doing all the phases. The 1st part of phase II for me was the most inspiring and possibly the easiest.

  • I think I'm waaaaaayy too musically young to be musically raped like this. :D

  • hahah great comment

  • lol, yeah.. i never thought i'd get 16 ups for that.. thanks! :D

  • wow i get scare like 25 times. so tripping

  • Awesome.

  • The first time i watched this video i was pretty baked. When it got to the part from Space Odyssey my eyebrows rose at the same time as the character's, effectively making it a mirror and throwing my mind for a loop, however brief! The imagery of an astronaut in takeoff (i'm guessing that's what was occuring) caused my heart and mind to expand! Fascinating song! Love the chunky "motor" sound of the bass!

  • 2001: a space oddysey!

  • rips off? or in the stylings? either way well constructed video with great music

  • More like incorporating one song into another.

  • its not that much like pink floyd, and even if it was its called being 'influenced' by them, not ripping them off.

  • @penguinxxxx People these days dont understand the difference between Ripping an artist off and being influenced. Probably due to the fact that mainstream music is all a rip of of each other.

Big difference between Porcupine Tree music and Pink Floyd, even if they do have occassional times where you can hear the influence of David Gilmour

  • @howdyfeller I can hear the ambient influence of Rick Wright in the keyboard work as well on this

  • @penguinxxxx thank you thank you. i grow tired of the comparison. sure they both experiment with ambient noise but pink floyd had more funk influence over all and pt has more metal influence (now, less so earlier on). but i suppose im preaching to the choir on this one.

  • Is that Dr. Timothy Leary at the beginning doing the voice over??

  • Yes his voice and comments are used throughout this song.

  • that girl talking at 1.54, its sampled in a techno tune. anyone able to tell me what it is? thanks

  • man i think your thinking of 'little fluffy clouds' by The Orb.

  • @coeurdeboeuf Its Scared [Lonely Traveller] - Slacker. I really want the acapella!!

  • dude this is so spacing awsome shine

  • 4:51 sounds like pink floyd...awesome

  • I love this video, early Porcupine tree is so good. Chris.

  • groovy<3

  • Oh that so crazy..

  • Great music. Although I don't like their other song very much, this is really great!

  • great vid with terrific music #####

  • I think Tim would definately have approved ....will that white rabbit ever get there on time????
