  • Tá mais pra mezzo contralto isso aí...

  • Her lower register is basically air (LOL @ her C3), her belts are mixed unevenly causing her to strain (anything below that is fine though. She needs to stay rooted to comfort zone), & her head voice is good. She needs to work on her control/support over the notes aswell.

    Also, I prefer Whitney Houston's rendition over Jennifer's. It's a M-E-S-S.

  • How could you miss the infamous idol B5 performance? I think her upper chest belts got better when she lost the weight thou. That C#6 exclamation was epic & Strong too.

  • Can you remove my channel's name from your tags? Thank you.

  • what's the name at 1:24

  • I love her!

  • She is an AMZING dramatic Soprano :D

  • i'm sorry but you used the wrong National Anthem... that one was "screaming"

  • The power of her voice is a true talent but I must say her high notes do not sound good at all.

  • she is a real soprano!!!

  • @unisonusername She's a mezzo soprano.

  • @ThePianoguy89 she's not...she said it herself, she's a soprano and i would say a dramatic one.

  • @svichky Her tone is way too dark to be considered a soprano and she cannot be a dramatic soprano because she doesn't sing opera. You cannot give pop singers vocal fachs. She really is a mezzo soprano.

  • @ThePianoguy89 i am opraticly trained. vocal ranges are measured by what notes you can sing and she is outside of the mezzo-soprano range. she sings in the soprano range and with her dark timber i would say classicly she would be a dramatic. i am a lamb so do not even try and go that im sayingthat b/c i am a fan route, lol mariah is queen sitting above all others #LAMB4LIFE <3

  • @lathanregintree It's you again, Mariah has nothing to do with this video. Voice types have nothing to do with what notes someone can hit. I was specifically talking about voice classification, not range. She is a mezzo soprano. She can't be a dramatic soprano because she doesn't sing opera.

  • @ThePianoguy89 ur such an idiot,LOL voice type is determined by what notes you can sin mixed with timber,smh... #FAIL -_-

  • @lathanregintree You are such an idiot. I know what I am talking about. Voice classification has nothing to do with hitting notes and even vocal pedagogues would say that. Your sentence does not even make sense and there's no coherence at all. Nice try! Voice types depend on the texture, colors, timbre, or tessitura of the voice, not range of notes.

  • @unisonusername J-Hud is nobody's Soprano.

  • where's the video at 7:00 from?

  • @PARAWHORExHERE Somewhere Over The Rainbow. Originally by Patti Labelle.

  • I really like her voice. However, she REALLY has a hard time hitting the low notes. She sounds more comfortable in the middle range where her signature voice is. When it gets to F5 and higher, she is adding too much chest voice in her mixed notes and that is what is causing her to strain.

  • @highnote32 How do you Know she strains? She is just a good belter. jennifer singing comes from church where singers usually belt high, shes been doing it for a long time. When she sings higher than an F5 she is comfortable in that range, I mean Who else belts a C6 with such ease?

  • Comment removed

  • WOW! Jennifer is this generations best belter, The girl can belt a chest C6!! Anybody who comes on here and says she strains and what not is just mad their fave could never.....

  • wots the song at 0:38, 2:11, 6:26 and where, 7:31, plzz help

  • @Shazni1409 I Love You I Do

    I Am Changing

    Respect / Aretha Franklin Tribute

    Where You At

  • Im seing her on on Wednesday live for her tour, I cant wait! just to experience that Voice Live! I think Im gonna need a doctor when she hits that Where you At Note at the end! *DeliVERRRRRRRR!!!*

  • @Mcvideos92 Haha I hope it was good! :)

  • she is so sexy now

  • i WILL BE YOUR SOLID FAN JENNIFER! FROM THE PHILIPPINES!

  • @bconsitt What's wrong with Jen's Vibrato ? :O Its amazing powerful and full ! =p

  • Great. U fixed ur Audio problem haha

    Nice Vid.

  • @WhitneyElizabethH Yeah! Haha, it was awful wasn't it? Ugh, well I'm glad it got fixed. Thanks :)

  • Lower register is ehhh...sounds very muffled at points.

Her vibrato is really laggy and uneven...but her mid-belt area (C5-E5) is quite nice and is where she is the most consistent.

She's had some good moments in the upper belt area (F5 and above)...but she needs to work on her mixing and placement. But she's improved from before...

Her head voice is nice, especially in the lower area..but can still be improved, she loses power and body as she ascends.

    Good job on his ^^.

  • @KyoHanjin Thanks! I agree, her low register is very inconsistent. That C3 was nothing but a breath. She has improved alot since before. Thanks again for the comment :)

  • I think that first E3 is an Eb3

    MOVING ON

From C3-E5 her chest range is amazing! (Need to work on that vibrato)

from F5 and up she needs to work on it but she has GREATLY improved from the idol days and her first Era

  • @TheVocalPower I'm sorry about my ignorance, but what's wrong about her vibrato? To me it sounds well.

  • @Marco686marques i love her Vibrato! WE LOVE JENNIFER! From what ELLEN said " The INCREDIBLE " JENNIFER HUDSON!

  • Great video :)

  • I really did like her grammy performance, and I think she's much better than some years ago, and I think her A5's in where you at are amazing.

  • @Marco686marques I agree. She is much better than she used to be. I think it's to do with the weight loss. I think she has alot more confidence. Back then she sometimes shouted, she still does sometimes, but she's better now.

  • @stardusth2o Maybe she took some classes too, sometimes sounds to me that she mixes really well some of her beltings, as it seems so effortless, for instance I think all her beltings in grammy sounded less shouty. Anyway, she keeps ketting better all the way :D

  • @Marco686marques Yes she does :)

  • @bconsitt YAY! Lol haha. Thanks :)

  • @bconsitt Oh I forgot to ask you what you thought of the video overall, and if I messed up on any notes :P

  • im gonna make my own jhud live vocal range. i will try to make it different from yours! :)

  • @chewerboy I just watched it! Very good! I love it :) it's good that she's getting more recognized. I was so surprised that there wasn't already one for her because her range is great! :)

  • @stefano94x @bconsitt how about u guys post a video of u singing , I'm sure neither of you are half as good as jennifer... hmpphhh

  • @IAmUnique678 Mine is not hating at all. Her belting register is without doubt wide, but still flawed.

  • She has an amazingly powerful voice! So much soul! She's a gutsy belter!

  • Jenn is so underrated as a singer and vocalist. I love those A5's from Where You At. It just seems like alot of hate for Jenn in the comment section. Jenn has improved so much since the American Idol days. Her belts are thin? Yes. Strained? No! Her comfort range is definitely C5-F5.

  • @DJAlmond123 I agree! I don't think that she is underrated as a singer because so many people took notice of her powerful vocals! Some people just don't want to accept her vocal style and abilities. Her comfort belting range is C5-F5, but her belted G5 is great though in my opinion!

  • 0:20 Not an Eb3?

You did an amazing job this time! The quality and the video are superb!

    Love Jen!

  • @bconsitt Agreed

  • Anyway, I love Jennifer's voice, she's one of the three best female vocalists in current mainstream music. Amazing power in the mid belt, beautiful overall voice tone, decent lower register too. She does need to improve on her upper belt, but she has time to do that (I hope).

  • The C5/C#5 in I am Changing (I think) is superb

  • @bconsitt girl.....stop.

  • @mphsmade To the best of my knowledge, bconsitt is a male... And what is he doing that he should stop doing? Voicing his opinion/a fact about this woman's voice?

  • @ManOfBamboo ok.

  • AHHHHHHH!!! I LOOOVE THIS VIDEO!!! :D

  • She is fine but her lower register is just too inconsistent and above F5 her placement is pretty awful.

  • @Stefano94x I agree, she needs to improve her placement and mixing technique but she's still very young and there's time. But I think 5:53, 6:13, 6:41, 7:01 are pretty good, but 5:58 and others are strained. She is very very good in my opinion. I love her but she sometimes gets too thin. I love her anyways lol. Thanks for the comment! :)

  • I love Jennifer, she's a beast. Her A5's from "Where You At" are so strong & powerful. Epic!

  • Nice video! I love her new album she has got amazing potential, love her!

  • She is an amazing belter, I'm speechless at those A5s, very nice indeed. I love Jennifer she's so underrated. People with voices like these should be the most requested singers not Britney, where, if you asked her to sing she'd black out and start square dancing her way out of the stage. Great video, buddy. *thumbs*

  • @kellyclarksonismygod Thanks! I'm so glad it came out good because my last few videos have had some serious crappy quality :/ It took me maybe 3 hrs to put this together and it took another hour to save it, but then I saw there was some clips that shouldn't have been in there so I had to fix them and then save it AGAIN and wait another hour, and then it took ANOTHER hour to upload it and I'm not lying I tried to upload it 3 times and eachtime...Lol so I'm glad it came out good. :)

  • @stardusth2o You have no idea how many times that has happened to me! But in all those are the videos you're proud of xD

  • @kellyclarksonismygod True. I am very proud of this video lol. :)

  • Wow, that was great! Great job as usual. Big improvement! I love it. favorited!
