uhhh not even close, u see, when a pass happy offense like rice is going against slower and weaker players than the big 12 it's a lot easier to put up numbers even then michael crabtree has better numbers(cough cough) and wins than jarrett there is now way he's better than michael
it doesn't matter where u come from, look at wrs who have succeded from smaller schools: Marques colston, brandon marshall, T.O., Randy Moss, steve smith, greg jennings, roddy white, etc... all these guys came out of 1aa and non-bcs schools, but all of them are great wrs....A lot of big conference wrs suck in the nfl..Crab is gonna be a big time bust cause he lacks great technique and great skills...Dillard is gonna be a good one for a long time and i'm glad we didn't waste money on fraubtree.
well randy moss played for a national championship team and all those other guys would have went to a d2 school if it wasnt 4 their grades and u seriously think he's going to do better haha he's probably not even going to start till his 3rd year and beastree is a fucking beast so i dont know how he's going to be a bust???!!!??
yeah goin against all those weak teams in the big 12 south and plus common sense dude..If a team throws the ball 83% of the time, at least one player will have 100 receptions...plus dillard is more discilplined and runs better routes,,crab will be a bigger bust than troy williamson.
if that's the fuckin case dumbass then everybody from the spread offense that put up okay numbers would be a first round pick but that's just it their isn't that was probably the first first-round pick wr from ttu in forever, and sis you see that fuckin play against texas bitch. fuck u you think u know about football dumbass, and he was hurt atleast the three last games of the season. and the bowl game against virginia was unbelievable and guess what he was hurt then too.
and i never said JD isn't a good player, i think he's going to be great but im just sayin not as good as crabBEAST is going to be in the next level(james casey is too)
woooo weeee the jags are really getting something. when i heard of this pick i was like. ehh another average wideout. watched this to get some info. man he is quick, fast, great acceleration, great cuts. and jacksonville picked up Mike Thomas. They get to learn from torry holt, i'm soooo excited about this 2009 upcoming season.
i was so glad to see we were actually making an effort to improve our offense in the offseason with tory holt and the ot we picked up and then 2 late wide outs in the draft that are speed guys and soft handed ooo boy i cant wait
Don't be at all I'm pretty sure our youngest O-linemen is 28,29.... There the oldest bunch on the team... And E. Manroe is a beast...I cant belive he was not the first OL taken...
crabtree is just one guy we got three sold recievers a TIght end whom is gonna be a beast, and most importantly Two SOLID offensive linemen. WR's are no good when the QB is getting sacked every 3 seconds
When ur presented with the chance to strengthen a core aspect of ur team u take it. flashy wide receivers don't matter as much as the guys up front. also they didn't want to risk having another failed 1st round pick by selecting a WR. just look at the 2007 season we had the same old WR's and made it to the playoffs. next year the O line breaks down and we are picking 8th in the draft.
He's a tough kid. Solid over the middle. I'm from Houston and have seen him in a bunch of games live. He's alot like Derick Mason was. I think Jarrret's got more hops though. Mason wasn't fast either, it's their route running that gets them sooo open. Any team that gets him his getting a 10 year starter. Ohh, and he's high character kid too.
He is definately going to be a diamond in the rough. He's projected as a 4th-5th round pick right now because of his size and 40 time. I would love for the Buccaneers to pick him in the 4th round.
You must not watch the NFL a lot. There are many NFL WRs that are that fast in and out of their breaks, and even faster. Take a look at Greg Jennings from GB, Steve Smith from Carolina, Reggie Wayne from Indy, there are plenty of guys.
They are, not saying they're not I but for someone to say they're not sure if theres any NFL players who are that fast in out of their breaks does not watch it.
best receiver we had this year he could become a pretty good 2 or 3

Torry Holt even said out of all the drafted WR's Dillard reminded him (Torry) of himself. Holt said that Dillard is smooth and has natural hands.

Awesome natural route skills!! And he will get better. Clinic stuff.
