For a late import pick he's done really well and is near the top in all statistical categories. 3rd in GAA, 3rd in sv %, tied for 2nd in shutouts. He's only 18 and at 18 he's much better than Kuemper was at 18.

@tropicphantom676 Could play better? Are you serious? He's been fantastic all year long IMO. For a guy taken 59th in the import has done really well. Pouliot isn't even in the same league as Bartosak, Pouliot hasn't started as much since he hasn't earned anything. Pouliot has been O.K. when I've seen him, but it's not even close. Dumba was last ranked 5th by C.S.S (central scouting services)

@tropicphantom676 Just remember buddy, we got something hanging in our rafters that you don't, a memorial cup banner. :) The Hitmen should be an improved team, but will not be contenders. I say at BEST 3rd in the Central, maybe. Most likely 4th or 5th. And they'll finish anywhere from 7-10 in the conference. They'll be battling for those last 2 playoff spots.

@JewishBigshow He cannot go to the OKC Barons. 18 and 19 year olds are not permitted to play in the AHL. More than likely he will get his 9 games that an 18 year old rookie can play, but then the Oilers have to make a choice to keep him or send him back. For his benefit and the Oilers it'd be better if he was returned to the junior ranks.

@JewishBigshow RNH is a 1993 born. Therefore by Hockey age he is 18 and I do believe he'll be 18 soon if he isn't already.. He is good enough for the Oilers and will be given every chance, it's just they're so deep on F's as it is right now, he may not get the proper playing time and for his benefit and theirs be better to send him back. Plus he'll get to play in the World Juniors. Taylor hall was the best on the spitfires.

@nugenthopkinsfan9 from 2010-11, I've been trying to find out, I even asked Joe Whitbread who works with them but he hasn't got back to me yet. Personally I thought the goal song from 10-11 kind of sucked. Not a song a crowd can get into. If they want to be original and use a song no other WHL team uses I'd reccomend Dup Dup Dup by Mickie Krause, look it up.

Thats what the oilers need, some good deffencemen to help out nikolai and deven in the net.... See, the oilers already have enough good forwards, Hall,eberle Paajarvi and omark.... If they (Oilers) wanted to address Defence, then they'd pick Larsen, not Landeskog. RNH is also a centreman, another area they could address. Tambellini has gone on record though to say no matter who they take, they'll likely not be with the main club. While Larsen on D may be the best route, it would NOT be a mistake to take RNH!

Why did the trade Penner? Easy cap cutting costs, Oilers are rebuilding. The Oilers could easily get a good pick from the Sharks 3rd round. In fact Penner should have been dealt in 09-10 and not this past season to be honest. Also FYI, Landeskog is a RW...they don't need a RW! RNH has already proved he's the best prospect in North America.

@tropicphantom676 Well they obviously made an error then. Just because the pick is in the 3rd round does not automatically mean the player is going to be instantly bad. If they do their scouting they can easily find a good player. RNH didn't lose his skill in the playoffs at all, he produced vs. Edmonton, and he had his chances against the MH Tigers. He just couldn't put the puck past Bunz. MH owned RD the 1st 2 games, after that they were all close as expected.

RNH is a playmaker, but yea those numbers are terrible. RNH is the best prospect heading into the '11 NHL draft, case closed.

@NessMencesal We don't know if they were invincible or not. You cannot base they were invincible because their teams were knocked out in round 1 or round 2. It's a team thing, not an individual. I cannot speak for Couturier or Landeskog, but I can speak for RNH and can say he was just as good in the playoffs as he was all year. The thing is vs. Med Hat, they had the Rebels number all year, it wasn't just limited to RNH being the catalyst. RNH is the best prospect heading into the draft.
