Thanks for the comments, glad you enjoyed it! It's looking pretty dated now but I just used Adobe Premier to do the muzzle flash. No Indy films planned as yet - maybe a sci fi or Pirates trailer though. Look forward to seeing your Indy flick!
Hey ed really good film Excellent and love all the action and fighting and explosions too. Wondering something What editing programs did you use to get the muzzle flashes and all the explosions? Are you planning to making more indy fan films in the near future???? By way i am currently working on some story's and scripts and hope to start shooting them this spring and summer of 2011. INDY"S COMING SUMMER OF 2011. Again great film and i'm rating it 5 out 4 stars.
Cool, would love to see it. As for our own voices, it was very windy up their so the original recording s were unusable and I didn't have any ADR time so the next best thing was to lift the voices from the film.
Thanks! I used a combination of Lightwave for the 3d zeppelin and explosions, and a combination of photoshop, rotoscoping by hand and premiere for the greeenscreen stuff and muzzle flashes!

Nice movie, but it's a shame that you relied too heavily on computer graphics, plus the plot wasn't very good. So I'd have to give you 3 stars. Sorry, but apparently this was a low budget film so it deserves a low rating.
I have to say that this is by far the most inventive original fan made Indiana Jones film i've ever seen. I love how you used audio of Ford as opposed to getting an actor to imitate him. The effects are pretty darn inventive (love how you just got pictures of vintage cars and had them pass by, quite clever). If I had any advice it would be to grap some audio of Ford speaking from other films (preferably not Get off my plane or I didn't kill my wife): quotes that an audience could pin-point.
Thanks - glad you liked it! I had to do the audio in a bit of a hurry and was never really happy with the final mix of it all. good idea with the other samples though.
Thanks for that! We had a great time making it. The costumes were from a local theatre company - not really accurate! I added a few swastikas that I printed out in Photoshop which helped a lot! Cheers, Ed
Barnett College was Geelong College and South America was the trusty you Yangs, just out of Geelong -who new that there were so many gum trees in Peru!
Hi! thanks for the feedback - given I'm left handed, I've always kept it on that side! Thanks for pointing it out, will try to fix it for next time! Cheers,
Apart from that, it's very well done. Some of the visuals, like the cars etc, are extremely good. Nazis at the You Yangs is funny if you've been there, but very nice work all the same. Keep 'em comin' guys!
Thanks straker2 - of all the things we had a bunch of German tourists there while we were filming! Sadly not a big enough budget for crowd control!! As for our next project, might be time for a Pirates of the Caribbean send up!
If only Britain had had a copy of that newspaper - then we'd have learned we were being bombed three years before we declared war in 1939. How could we not have noticed? Were the germans just bad shots?
Maybe it was similar newspaper-related confusion that contributed to the US being years late for the two world wars....and does explain why they're so keen to be early for the next one?
Thanks for the comment. Sadly our continuity person was sick that day...or maybe there is a time travelling plot for Indy 4...all mysteries - such as why South America looks suspiciously like Australia! Well, hopefully our budget will extend to better newspapers for the next installment!
Mr. Dolista!!!! Great Job! I can see where the acting classes you taught were with experience!!!

Very good! My friends and I are planning on making an Indy movie over the summer. I was wondering, what program did you use for the special effects?

Sweet Indy Vid! Gotta be some of the best fan fic I've ever seen! Nice amateur special fx, too. Definitely felt like an Indy movie. Great job!!!

Thanks - had a great time doing - maybe I'll do a 'special edition' and rework some of the fx someday!

Good work...though, it is just me, but I would have tried for some new lines of dialogue. Otherwise, good effort.
Faust668 4 years ago
Thanks - I intended to do a proper ADR session with new dialogue but I was running out of time so went for some lower quality samples.

Indy's trademark satchel-bag is hanging on the wrong side of his body. It's supposed to be on the right side, right near his trusty bullwhip.
