  • and he is...?

  • I really love this movie I'm a huge fan of 80's horror movies...I can see why many ppl say that they don't like this one....for one thing the killer is just some random killer that has no story...they didn't even at least like on the radio or news say that a psycho killer just broke out of the local mental hospital XD.... and people don't just die every 2 seconds in this film... I really love this film..you can tell it was inspired by the original Halloween which is also a really good film :)

  • @1428nancythompson

the killer had no backstory. That was the point. the nerdy guy said it best: people just wake up one day and for no reason at all just snap and kill ppl. Like in black Xmas or When a Stranger Calls. There's no reason for the insanity. Creepy.

  • @compsciguy yeah alott of ppl don't like tht though 4 some reason but I really like this movie :)

  • me encanta este slasher!! muy bueno la musica muy buena tambien

  • I remember seeing this and thinking, when is the killing going to start. Then over halfway through, when is the killing going to end. yikes

  • He's come back! From where.........? The writer's noncomplete imagination?

  • I don't remember the actual movie being as good as this trailer. I'll have to check it out again.

  • I didnt care much for the movie because doesnt tell us who he is and why hes killing...didnt make much sense

  • The eighties horror films were better , not like today when there is too much blood and stuff

  • Yeah,I don't know why this got such bad reviews when it came out. I've watched this film so many times. A great 80s slasher classic.

  • @Devo13 That's because big movie critics always give slasher films bad reviews.

  • Cool it has the guy from Christine in it and was also in The Burning.

  • I remember this from years ago, it was real boring. The most memorable was the weeping girl at the end.

  • so who was tthe killer????}

  • @MeteoraXV Some nameless injun guy w/o a mo'.

  • @MeteoraXV they don't tell you who he is, he just shows up, kills some people and then dies

  • yeah kill that effin Raddish kid, Wildman too heh heh

  • it says. HE'S COME BACK? bUt who is he?? we never find that out in the movie. hes just some dude who shows up with no backstory or no past. or connection to anyone at the school..

  • michael myers?

  • i love slashers but this one sucked/it was never explained at the end,who the killer was or why he killed.

  • @charliedontsurf70 I agree with you 100%! I think slasher movies are more enjoyable when you have an explanation of the killer's motive or background and not just mindless 'hack 'n slash'. It's simple character development in the story and what better character to develop than the psycho? There's so much to work with! So many possibilities! I just watched the original Black Christmas last night and I really liked it, but felt cheated at the end because they didn't explain that killer either.

  • @shogun003 i hear you shogun003,however i did realy like black christmas simply for the fact that the killer had no explanation-its ok if every now and then we get a completely demented nut on a spree.lol.if you saw the remake of black christmas that came out 2 years ago-they spent so much time with the killers charactcher development-it took away much from the suspense the oroginal held.but final exam was just dreadful-one of the few times where the movie poster was better than the film.lol.

  • @charliedontsurf70 Yeah, I think it works in Black Christmas too also because they kind of tease you with hints about the killer like his name is Billy and he's looking for Agnes or something like that so it just kind of kept you asking yourself, "Who is he?". Also it is considered to be the first real slasher film.

  • @shogun003 right- and it works in that, very creepy-leaves alot to the imagination.which is what horror movies are supposed to do,like phantasm, one of my faves-keeps you guessing-holds you interest and blows your mind at the end.

  • @shogun003

Psycho is the first real slasher film, then if you back farther, Peeping Tom is the REAL original slasher...Scream 4 explains this.

  • @compsciguy I get what you're saying, and there are other murder psycho killer movies made before Black Christmas, but it is widely considered to be the first PROPER "slasher" film (as per wikipedia). The term "Slasher film" has become a sub-genre of horror movies and Psycho is more of a suspense horror film. "Slasher films" tend to have lots more gore and violence.

  • @compsciguy Also, Scream 4 is only a movie itself and therefore, its reliability is questionable. But in the end, I suppose all of this is debatable.

  • and.... a...killer ;)

  • I liked this movie, i baught it yesturday and ive been trying to build up my collection for good horoor movies from the 80's. you like slasher flicks, get this.

  • "....and a killer!" great combination between the line and the scene

  • FINAL EXAM:

Some may pass the test. God help the rest!

  • This trailer is far better than the film itself.

    There are several spoilers though!

  • Camera quality sucks. It looks like early-mid 70's.

  • movie is f..in briliant If you have some brain ....Is there any question?.........No.....hmmm

  • This is a great movie! Every true Horror fan should check it out. In the 80's they have made a lot of great Horror movie's, not like today!

  • Boring as shit! not even the ending is satifying

  • I got this Movie on DVD for Christmas, its not great or bad, but is enjoyable and worth watching a second time

  • I remember watching this in the theatre and wondering when is the killing gonna Start and then shortly there after when is the killing gonna Stop.

  • This was released in Australia as a double feature with "Fear No Evil"

  • The girl in this movie that played the lead part is reminds me of Jamie Lee Curtis on the way she looked in Halloween,is their any chance they may be related.

  • I might see! And I have agreed with the 80's horror films! There were great, unlike the shitty ass horror movies we see in the 2000's even know I was born in 1993! :I

  • I love this film!!!!

  • One of my favorite eighties slashers. Love the score, the creepy atmoshere, the ending and the scary stalk scènes! So underrated and forgotten!

  • gotta see this movie :) looks cool, thx for trailer :D

  • No I remmber this I saw it at the theater when I was like 9. I thought it sucked even then.

  • WOW! I guess nobody remembers this movie but me!

  • im gonna get this on ebay , i luv 80s movies , i grew up in 80s but i never heard of this one

  • I love 80's horror too.

  • Why buy it, if you can download it

  • I have this film available to download PM ME

  • @WITTO007 don't download horror --- give them your hard earned money!! prove to them that there is a need for this genre!!!
