To get the tigrex helm, you need a tigrex skull shell. It is a pretty rare item that you get by breaking his face (or by just luck).

there are way better weapons in fact, but it can do an awesome job in the early stages.

It's up to you. Oh! If you're the lucky type, go for it ;)

At least, the weapon should be made to be upgraded into a naruga weapon ;)

@Ravinderz it means you have 25% chance of dealing a negative affinity hit and that means 25% less damage. (a weapon with -10 will have 10% chance of dealing 25% less)

if you have the boat in the pokke farm ( 500points, needs to be downloaded ), send the cat with 200pts in the jungle. He'll bring some very often.

If you don't have the boat, kill the 2* guild rathian or rathalos, you'll get lots.

Hey Guys how do you increase your weapons affinity, so i can use tigrex tooth without my attack power going low as in 3/4 the usual damage...

need answer... or els im just wasting time fighting tigrex to make a weapon that has negative affinity.

You have to get yourself an armor set with reckless abandon ( expert ). You can also make jewels for that. each level of RA gives +10% affinity.

Ok heres what you want to do to get an attack with positive affinity NO MATTER WHAT LEVEL OF NEGATIVE AFFINITY.Make an armor set,which when complete gives you "Art of Sword Draw" (Art of Unsheathing or just look for Sword Draw +10).This skill gives any attack/draw (moving + draw weapon) POSITIVE affinity.blademaster weaponry.I find it VERY nice to use with the Ukanlos LS and GS as they have the highest RAW in game.Therefore 1752 (+ base player atk) turns into 2190 attackpower in a single strike.

flashbomb before they can fly high enough,or trap then knockout with hammer.Some monsters only run away when heavily damaged,therefore waiting gives you a good chance to kill them in their sleep ( which is much easier).

It looks quite cool, but you have to kill some blangongas ( dodobrangos ). They are not hard for someone that played many hours, but the first time they can be a real pain in the ass. And the armor isn't this powerful. It has a good skill though ( quake resist )
