At 39 I guess my hearing is good as I can hear them all. Then again, I was always annoyed by the high pitch sound of a traditional CRT TV tube. I was overjoyed the day we got our first LCD TV, no more high pitch whine. None of my family or friends could hear or even believed me about the TV picture tube sound, until one of the TV's shut off the picture tube when a part overheated. I sat in a closed room and yelled "off" and "on". When I came out their jaws were hanging open that I could hear it!

I finally proved I could hear them in class when our teacher was trying to play a video and I told him it wasn't playing because it was going frame by frame in the black screen at the beginning. Usually if you'r under 24 and you can't hear the mosquito it means that you listen to your music too loud and frequently. So much that you are damaging your ears. It's called "killing frequencies" a frequency is said to "die" when the subject involved can no longer hear that frequency, for the rest of their lives.
