Sheesh, forgot about them sending the horde of Spetsnaz after you if you take too long there. That section is genuinely the most difficult in the whole series.

It isn't impossible but if you play on hard you bound to die a few times trying.

i'm use a MOD that enhance the guns parameters, and i play in hard mode... so, if only a few bullets hit me i die. No way i can cross this area without kill the guard on tower.

If you do not have any gun with scope I recommend you return the same way to Swamp, go to Yard Machine (now remember that you are no longer a clear sky, so put the gun down before you talk to any NPC, and any travel with a guide will now be paid), go to the renegades base in Northern farmstead, kill them if there's someone there, and take the path that you Cordon behind the village.

but dont forger that the stalkers will atack you if you try to pass the bridge so .. ;) bad tip... ruins the gameplay

what I wound up doing was to run behind the rocks, then sprint between the fallen tree and the fence post. all the while getting creamed but the machine gun, but healing up with med kits (had a bunch from stash hunting in the swamps), until finally i was out of range. extraordinary game. my favorite fps, and i've played most of them.

yep thats right ;) btw i totaly agree with you that stalker is one of the best FPS games i have ever played... the actual thing i like is that the game is totaly random and fun. Good luck out there stalker ;)
