  • you should step a bit further in your lunges. your knee almost goes over your toes and your leg does not make a 90 degree angle.

  • @wubs23 Thanks for the feedback. From what I've learned in my certification programs the over the knee issue is true, but mainly when using heavier weights and when the weights are at your side it actually okay for your knee to go to your toes even a little beyond. But in general, you're right, best rule of thumb to stay behind the knee, especially with squats. As far as the 90 degree thing, you don't need to go that far to get acdtivation of the quad muscles in the lunges.
