Unbelievable that cricket was most popular sports and stopped because of snow and Ice hockey became most popular sport there. HOPe new chucking machine will make cricket #1.
well by homegrown i really meant canadian born and raised like Ponting or Tendulkar or Vaughan (for their respective countries) something along those lines. But still Davison makes up for everything!
well im not exactly home grown. i waz born in canada grew up in the west indies. ive exelled at cricket here. would u consider me home grown if i played for canada. to be honest im confident i could make the team!
Lh8 I completely agree. Cricket's populairity is on the rise at a good pace. I hear they are starting to make more Club leagues outside of Toronto and more schools are sponsering teams.
The thing with Canadian cricket, just like here in the states is that theres not enough home grown talent. Very few palyers form our teams were born in the country they play for. Good youth programs is whats needed.
the only player that was 'great' from Canada was Davison (9)
