I love the chemistry between the characters in this movie. They were perfect for their roles. Now I admit, I read the book before I saw the movie and I did like the book better. But, Shane West and Mandy Moore were just right for the parts. They would have done just as well if the movie were set in the 50's, just like the book. Still, there's something to like about the movie too.
