The textbooks are ludicrous, especially geography ones - "Using only an A4 piece of cardboard and some scissors, design and make something to help you stop getting sun blindness in a hot desert" (coming from a module ironically titled 'activate your brain cells!') I mean really? I'm not going to be in a desert with sun blindness thinking 'thank fuck for this cardboard and scissors!'
I am a Scottish teacher and I agree 100% with your sentiments. In fact since your video was uploaded I would say that the situation has deteriorated still further and the lunatics have well and truly taken over the asylum.
Spot on ! The Scottish CfE has been branded a "curriculum for ignorance" by Chris Woodhead, former schools inspector in England and Wales - and he's right.
