Plus, we use Europe as a whole, because there are so few national differences between most parts of europe. As a EU-citizen, i don't need any passport to travel throughout the EU, i'm allowed to live wherever i want and work wherever i want. The EU is on it's way to become one state and most citizens already think about it as a country.
@CSATexan Actually, since the end of world war two, german trains are always late. Plus, in the EU you have to speak more than one language. I, as a german, speak german, french, english, spanish, dutch and a few words in the polish, portuguese and italian language. That may be more, than the average EU-citizen is capable of, but, in germany, every student has to learn at least 2 foreign languages.

I actually lived in Paris for one year and in Pamplona (Spain) for two years and i never had language problems, except for one time when i was in the Czech Republic. Everyone in Europe who uses his right for free education is taught foreign languages.
In the stores and restaurant sure, people speak more than one language. Especially in Pamplona. But they depend heavily on tourism. If they want to have a job that deals with the public they have to speak more than on language.
It is like here in Texas, EVERYONE knows enough Spanish to get by.

Plus, we use Europe as a whole, because there are so few national differences between most parts of europe. As a EU-citizen, i don't need any passport to travel throughout the EU, i'm allowed to live wherever i want and work wherever i want. The EU is on it's way to become one state and most citizens already think about it as a country.

I, as a german, speak german, french, english, spanish, dutch and a few words in the polish, portuguese and italian language. That may be more, than the average EU-citizen is capable of, but, in germany, every student has to learn at least 2 foreign languages.

I actually lived in Paris for one year and in Pamplona (Spain) for two years and i never had language problems, except for one time when i was in the Czech Republic. Everyone in Europe who uses his right for free education is taught foreign languages.

I'm American and THIS IS 100% TRUE .. trust me if the government wasn't screwing us so bad . we would move else where.The people here arn't even listened to..Not all of us want whats been shown to you, but were are ignored. look what their doing with the protesters, jailing them for protesting in abandoned condemed warehouses.If Only I could afford to leave I would, to where its more peaceful.I'm not proud of this country ,but I have respect for the people regardless.
