Hi Dez, thanks for the review. You know Im all the way in Guyana so I'm really limited with the products I can purchase. I was in Antigua earlier in the year and was matched to a clay 5 in the foundation stick, which I picked up. I how ever encountered two problems - (1) I believe that clay 5 is a tit bit too dark for me and was matched since i was walking in thhe sun and (2) I fine the stick foundation extremely dry and gives me a matte finish which is good but my face looks almost like a

@majoshlin Hi Beautiful, No it doesn't make my skin look ashy. The darker foundation is too dark and leave a noticeable color different.

I just visited your channel, and saw your profile picture. Try using a darker shade of the foundation, because from your profile picture it seems your undertones would benefit from a darker shade. Let me know how it goes.

Did the Imani blotting powder cause any breakouts on your skin? Cause I recently just used the blotting powder with my regular make-up and had a bad reaction to it. I know everyone's skin is different, but I was just trying to find out if it happened to anyone else.

Hi Risa88ful, my hair is Remy Indian hair(lace front), and when you mist it with water it will naturally wave intto the pattern you see here!

I've never used Iman products but after I ran out of M.A.C. I was looking for a cheaper sub! I have a hard time matching foundation to my skin tone. I don't know how to do it without actually rubbing it on my face. Most products do not have sample items. I'm lost! I don't know what to do and I'm tired of running around here at work, in meetings looking like I've been thrown away! HELP!!!

dear dhelpfulhands,  If you let us know what color is in MAC; we can help with some suggestion.Drugstore brands often involve some trial &error and making something work for you.

really good review ms dezi. I mainly use IMAN cosmetics, ie liquid foundation, the cream to powder formulation, pressed powder etc etc. IMAN is the only range i have tried that matches my skin tone exactly. I am a dark skinned sister and a lot of foundations for dark skins tend to have red undertones, but they dont suit me. For some reason IMAN does.

sexyinnbrown: for the stick foundation there's like 14 or 16 different colors. although, where they're sold, they may not have all the colors. i'm finding this brand difficult to find, especially if you don't live near an ulta, which carries all the colors. or you could purchase from online. hope this helps.
