Hold down>X/Y>R/L. Smoke should come out of your character, now try tilting it more left/right. Your character should move towards that direction by 'sliding'. Try tilting more horizontal to go a further distance(don't completely hold it right/left). Make sure to find the right timing to press X/Y>R/L, it changes for every character so experiment. If you need more help look up 'how to wavedash' on youtube or google it or go to SWF. Good luck.

this video was better for sure man! I did not know that fox's throw could kill off the edge... pretty hax lol. The grab at the end... wow that was some timing (at fox's f-b).

What's your opinion on Brawl fox?? I think he's garbage like hell man... Fox was my second best in melee but he's like one of my lesser chars in brawl. They nerfed him too much without upgrading anything else. I wish I could've played you back in the day during melee, I mained marth and I raped everyone in ottawa.

It's capital of canada lol. we're far away from L.A. My favourite in brawl is pit, but people complain he's "cheap" but I don't spam his f-b or his arrows, I like his air combos. Marth is fun and i'd say falco is my 3rd main.

I played some melee yesterday, I still got the shffl with marth but I was a little rusty. How do you shine-dash or whatever its called with fox? I tried wave-dashing right after I press down-b but I can't seem to do it? Is there a trick or do I just gotta be fast?

you have to do it fast, because when you go to do it backwards and you hold whatever direction you want to go it will turn so you have to do fastwave dashes

very good player congratulation you are a inspiration, anyway I hate the "best" characters on the games (like fox), the problem whit SSBM It`s the recover time before to be hit, on this game the characters recover It self so fast that there is no time to do a good combo, exept some few characters, they are so fast that after the punched character recover It self, they can hit it again and again. There is not equilibrium on that aspect.
