  • Respect! Bet you behaved really well as a kid ;)

  • your father was my grand master's instructor (karel van orsouw) in holland. speaking with gm karel just last month he expressed to me his deep respect and affection towards your father.

having seen all the video's of your father on youtube and pictures across the internet. i can honestly say that he walked the walk that many only pretended to do at the time.

  • One of the greats! I have several of his tapes and they have taught me a few things about TKD that I thought I already knew. Goes to show that even if u have 30 years in the arts the older Masters still have lots to teach. And yes Im sure he has forgotten more than I have learned! lol

  • Aha,i know u,hybrid77.You got ont time send comments into my profile. But,um,what did u say to me argh?

  • Wow,your dad was one of the original masters to come out of south korea and sent around the world to promote tae kwon do??If so ask him about Joon Jae Lee from calgary.I got my black belt from him.

  • Please tell send good word to Park Jung Soo, Sabum from Bateman Taekwondo Oh Do Kwan. My father was an American, ITF-International Instructor, and Dae Han Taekwondo Oh Do Kwan Instructor. Trained by Kim Bo Kyum.

  • Hey I train under Master Harris Bonfiglio and he talks about what tae kwon do used to be like and how the shit in the ITF or WTF is crap. GM Park Jung Tae was the best TKD artist ever.

  • Your dad, Jong Park, is a true Grandmaster of the real version of Taekwondo (Gen. Choi's vision of TKD). For those who understand fighting would truly respect him. Unfortunately, today's WTF (What The F--k!) Suckwondo people do not seem to understand what is fighting is all about. I hope your dad, one of the greatest TKD pioneers and fighters, will forgive them. Lastly, your dad deserves all kinds of respect from the martial arts world. He's truly one of the GREATEST.

  • Jong would f*ck people up. He kicks you in the skeleton, if that makes sense. Just try to block his sh*t, his attack angles. He acts old and sh*t but he can still kick behind him!Why talk about Paris? Jong f'ing made Paris and he could break him just as easy. Where do you think he got his belt from? Paris doesn't want to talk about Jong kicking him into the walls back in the day. Human-shaped holes for real. Choi Hong Hi said it best about him, "VERY DANGEROUS SOMETIMES". F*ing GRIP =( so what?!

  • My instructor GM CK Choi speaks highly of your father

  • Wow amazing dad!

  • WOW! your dad is Master Park!

no doubt THE BEST MASTER I will EVER have the pleasure to train under.

  • luv it daz awesum u haf a dad lyke dat

  • Your dad, Jong Park, was the best of his time in S. Korea. That's why he was selected by the government to promote Taekwondo overseas. Unfortunately, nobody appreciates his greatness today in S. Korea. Ironically, those who were couple levels below him in his time are now regarded as WTF's (What The Fuck) greatest GRANDMASTERS. I feel sorry for your dad....But please tell your dad that I have the greatest respect for him. Thank you.

  • Thanks for the kind words.

    Will do!

  • omg, your dads Grand MAster Park Jong Soo...IM currently a 1st dan black belt, and your father trained my master, Master Paris 8th dan. He was one of your fathers students.

  • How is Master Paris?

He was one of the students who was with my dad basically from the start.

Ive known him since I can remember. Grip like an iron vice.

    Tell hom Alan says 'hello'!

  • Is your dad Saesungnim Park Jung Soo?

  • Yeah,

Unfortunately, I'm one of his sons that never really learned TKD

  • OK. Too bad you did not learn Taekwon-Do. Your father is one of the persons who inspired me in my life. But life is not only Taekwon-Do ;-)

  • haha...true enough. But, now that I am a bit older I feel as though I missed out. 5 sons, all black belts except me and my oldest brother.

    Do you still train?

  • Then,what have u learned?

  • can you ask your father if he knows master rhee chung chul in Australia

  • my old master have learn taekwondo from this master (rhee chung chul), where i can see information about him?

  • info about him ? im not sure, theres some info about him on wikipedia, and there are websites about rhee tae kwon do in australia

    are you in australia?

  • No, im not in Australia, i only wanted to know more about the master of my master xD

I will see in wikipedia, thanks

  • who is ur master and wht country r u in?

  • Hes not a master (hes 5º dan) but he was in Australia qhen he was young and he says me that his master was Rhee Chung Chul. He have 2 photos in the gym, 1 of Gral Choi and other of Rhee Chung Chul and his brother.
