Thomas Dutronc a le niveau d'un bon amateur à la guitare. Je le respecte car il doit mettre beaucoup de passion à bien jouer. Il finira par acquérir un vrai niveau de pro. Bireli, à l'évidence, joue fabuleux mais un des seuls qui joue dans la veine de Django c'est Angelo Debarre. Why do people feel its necessary to make such ridiculous comparisons? These guys are friends sitting around the living room and you can see that Thomas is fully stoked to have Bireli on his couch. Bireli is the world's greatest guitarist and Thomas would be the first to tell you that. Dutronc is no slouch, which is why he gigs with LaGrene so frequently. He's the second rhythm guitarist in the Gypsy Project. He beats out rhythm with Hono Winterstein while grinning ear to ear at Bireli's improvs.

1.25 min shows who is the boss. bireli has more substance in the tone, he is louder and more creative in his soloing. and he even beats dutronc in playing rhythm.

@gummibaerchenmap I agree for the most part, although Bireli is also way higher in the mix just based on where his guitar is facing. And it seems like he doesn't even give Dutronc a chance.

C'est vrai que le calibre n'est pas du tout le même. Aussi doué que je trouve Thomas, Bireli et lui, ça n'est pas sur le même plan...

@Cascagnas , où est le rapport? c'est naze de penser qu'un gars est super sympa parce qu'il joue avec un gars qui n'est pas de son calibre, c'est aussi con que de penser qu'il n'est pas sympa parce qu'il joue qu'avec des tueurs....... franchement j'vois pas le rapport...... tu ne jouerais plus avec un pote à toi parce que t'as progressé et pas lui?........ bah, j'm'enflamme, je sais que tu voulais pas dire de mal, désolé ;-)

@Cascagnas: oui ben pour un gars qui à commencé la guitare a 18 ans, je trouve ça pas mal ! surtout que plus tu commences un instrument tard, plus tu galère... bireli a douze ans il jouait comme ça.

faut pas se priver de jouer de la musique avec des gens qui ont un bagage technique moins lourd.
