I was ASKING for the source which says Locke dies in the finale, which he didn't. He dies in a flash-forward, which is yet to be seen. So he'll die in (presumably) Series 5, so... my 'sources' were correct in saying he doesn't die in Series 4's finale.

So...Locke's in the coffin, he stalked the O6 to get them to return to the island, Locke's body needs to be taken back to be resurrected. The frozen donkey wheel.....is a giant frozen wheel that moves the island, Jin lives...Michael dies, noone knows what happens to Desmond. Ben kills Keamy and Sun hates Jack for refusing to turn the helicopter round to help Jin.

Actually it is never actually confirmed that she is talking to Sawyer, it's just to do with the request she is doing for him. I'm not ruling out that it is Sawyer but I'd be more inclined to think that it's Cassidy or someone becasue the task is to go see his daughter and look out for her.

Sawyer might die and have a final request that Kate settle his affairs of the island

I don't think Sawyer died. The makers said in an interview that the love triangle between Kate, Jack and Sawyer is long from over.

That's a good point and I hope you're right, I like Sawyer these days! But with Lost you can never be certain, maybe th producers meant that even in death Sayer would complicate things, just look at Jack's reaction in Something Nice Back Home

My friend and I thought it a while back ... and it appears to us that Locke is THE guy that can't and shouldn't die ... and if in any way he will one day face death ... it should be a most glorious death that saves the Losties... but after Cabin Fever, it looks like he's only just started to become the next 'Man Behind The Curtain' so i don't want to see it happen anytime soon ... on top of that Jacob wouldn't want him dead: "he's been waiting a LONG time for you"

locke's gonna turn back the time in the island.. if you look up season 5 on wikipedia, it says season 5 would focus on stories about the significant happenings on the island including ms hawking's photo with brother carbonnel and rosseau's backstory so.. must be exciting

I may be wrong but Sawyer seems to be on the helicopter, and since he isn't a member of the Oceansic Six we must presume he exits it at some point! Maybe it's his curtain call! His story is complete and there needs to be closure in the Jack/Kate/Sawyer love triangle!

Maybe he knows he's going to die and makes the final request to Kate that we hear of in Something Nice Back Home.

I'd like to hope he doesn't die but as always lost has a significant death in each finale!

And this would put 4 of the Oceanci Six in one place at one time when Jack and Sawyer arrive since Sayid and Kate are with Alpert. Although how do they get Sun and Aaron I wonder! They must have to reland. I've just had a thought, what if Sawyer gets off the chopper on the freighter so that Sun can have her baby off the island! I reckon it makes sense, but maybe it's totally wrong!

well the ratings really dipped in season 3, mostly because there was a month break between the first 6 episodes and the last 16. So, they decided that instead of having 2 more seasons with 24 episodes each with a bunch of breaks inbetween, they would hav 3 seasons of 16 episodes with no breaks. but the writers strike messed everything up (lots of breaks inbetween episodes). so season 4 was only 15 episodes but seasons 5 and 6 will be 17 episodes each with no breaks
