Schiff criticizes Geitner for not paying income taxes, but the irony is that Schiff doesn't believe in the income tax himself. In fact, his father Irwin Schiff is a famous tax protester, and is currently in jail for tax evasion.

Do you know the Definition of IRONY? One man's father refused to pay taxes out of principal because he feels NO ONE should be paying taxes. The other is a tax cheat who thinks its fine to get away with not paying some of his taxes while promoting policies that encourages the increased taxation of others!.

The whole issue is whether a CEO can misrepresent the condition of a company, or in this case its leader, one minute, while on the backside the company is entering bankruptcy or some other scenario.

This has recently become an issue with large financial institutions where CEOs etc. have essentially tried to calm investor fears by making positive comments that have no foundation.

Whether Jobs does it about his health or banks do it about their financial strength, it's really the same thing
