  • Nice, i need to get one of them

  • good job!

  • That's awesome where can I buy one

  • Release it? Did I hear that correctly? I think you mean...Eat it.

Nah just kidding lmao. But thanks for that video for reasons I don't know.... Thanks for putting out my curiousity? Yeah. That one.

  • where can i buy the one u used...i went to basspro to pick one up it was 35$!!! i really need this too

  • thats really really cool

  • The little guy is already traumatized in more ways than simply an over filled swim bladder so despite your technique you'd be better off pithing and grilling so that he simply doesn't go to waste. Then again, stripers and pelicans have to eat as well. The bass hero mentality esp. in SoCal cracks me up. There's no shame in keeping a few early winter largemouth for the table.

  • wuts the point

  • wait what does that do for the bass???

  • I never had to do this before but I heard it works and can be very useful in deep salt water fishing.

  • how deep would cause something like this to happen?

  • that was interesting, and most gentle to the bass. ty

  • It's a lake Castaic largemouth.

  • isnt that a spotted bass?

  • Why would you release such a nice fish?

  • I attempt to never kill largemouth.

  • @Honeebuket because if the fish is big when it goes to spawn its genes will pass on to make more nice fish.

  • @Honeebuket

why would you kill such a nice fish ?

  • @saleboche thats exactly what i was thinking

  • at what depth of water do you have to do this?

  • where can i get one

  • you are a gentleman. i truly feel god will love to see his children care about more than material things, the idea that you thought of this contraption to save fish after being caught tells a lot about your morals and way of life. i hope you and your family are blessed. we as people should create devices like this to save each other from drugs and violence. peace to you friend..

  • infact i can see a major problem with this , You pearce its swim bladder equalising the preasure at sea level and leaving a hole in the bladder , You then release the fish where it swims to the bottom under extream preasure .. What do you suppose is going to happen???

Well obviously its swim bladder will now fill with water.....

  • Piercing of the bladder (or 'Fizzing') is a contraversial method of depressurizing a fish.

as there is no conclusive study to say that Fizzing improves survival. it may improve short-term

survival however due to possible fungal infection or damage to tissues the fish can often die from secondary

issues, however this does depend on the species of fish.

  • shit man thats what happend to this huge hybrid i caught but i didnt know what to do with it so we just put em back in the water but i think he ended up dyin

  • catch and release for the win.

  • can you do that with any fish

  • i live in ohio!!! OH-IO

  • Good shiet...

    never though of that

  • " You can see the bubbles " ahhaha random

  • Check out this black bass jump out the water !! At jessejames510

  • Wow! That's pretty cool, & responsible, I might add. Nifty device!

  • This guy talks like a sissy fag..

  • @igetamercedes im thinking you are

  • WOW! i thought fish were dying if oxygen loss when they float like that.

  • Tractor supply store...you can make one for under $2 16 gauge needle and a plunger

  • LOL u guys dont see what it clearly is... ITs a fckin syringe without the liquid pusher. Its a syringe with a brand name on it lol ROFLMAO you guys are ridiculous. "Did you make it?". LOL

  • Did u make that or buy it because it is really cool and I want one

  • go bucks! OH-

  • @1bass1man1 IO

  • CPR for a fish LOL

  • man good job man you should make a business out of it

  • the only reason i made them is because i tournament fish and there was not a product that deflates bladders. Then my buddies started asking for them-i make them in my garage, i've yet to make one cent-but i know i've saved many fish that would have died! Do you even know what it is used for?

  • i feel this is just another way for some guy to make money from the so many other guys who fish.

  • This is legit. Ive fished a couple of amateur tournaments and the last thing you want is to be caught with a bunch of floating fish all around you. Doing this allows you to let the fish go unharmed.

  • wow. yer fuckin stupid

  • I cant understand why so many "bass fisherman" think this is a money making scheme. What did the bass in the beginning of the video float for him so he could make some money on a "fake" product.

  • You are a dumb shit! Fizzing the bass makes the fish swim regually not upside down. And he is not selling any shit dumb fuck.

  • yeah-to bring up a fish slow definitely helps and a quick release. So tournament situations, photo ops, hook problems, lead to prolonged exposure to pressure change and the need to needle sometimes.

  • I've never experienced a fish that has an expanded air bladder self regulate itself. Ever heard the term "a fish out of water."

  • the bass will NOT die on the surface! it will adjust itself. there has been alot written lately on post fizzing and that it might bring more harm than good by poking a hole in an internal organ, it makes the fish more suseptable to disease

  • They do die when they're left on the surface at my lake. We have tons of ospreys and eagles and they've learned to follow fisherman's boats and if you catch a deepwater bass and they can't get under, they're toast.

  • Sweet Fizz !! I like the fact you SHOWED it bubbling, most just demo it in the air, and you can hear the air(a little) escaping, this is a FAR better way to demo it!! GREAT FISHING and SAFETY in 2009!!!

  • That was a perfect demonstration! Thank you!

  • bass are fuckin stupid fish carp rule

  • u must be from the bass family

  • I think both are pretty goddamn fun. Especially if you are fishing from the shore you can bait a still rig for carp and actively search for the bass. Neither fish is better than the other.

  • nice work... glad to see that works

  • Wow cool.

  • Thanks for deflating it :) and where do you buy those needle ben fender thingies, and do they work with aquarium fish?

  • Type in bends mender on a search. They work on various fish but it is used to deflate the air bladder when it expands due to the fish changing depths to fast.

  • The bladder expands like a balloon when caught deep-if you don't release the air the fish can't descend and will die floating on the surface.

  • what does that do?, what does that help it do?

  • Good explanation on how that's done.

  • Good job buddy.
