hey, there will be slots for ad-cumentary styled ads at measat broadcasting. for an example, osim ad-cumentaries. think out of the box.

the director only needs some refinement to the audio visual part. the concept is there. u could use osim's advertisements as a rough guide. right now the av work have to be planned with proper story boarding. selection of background song is very important too. the current song is crowding out ur ad. however, i do agree with yihwen that there is a message overflow right now. develope a main plot. use subplots sparingly. that will help u streamline ur ad-cumentary.

Hey Eugene, I'm a film & advertising grad from Curtin.

The duration of your ad is too long, ad spots usually run for 15 or 30sec. Your message should be able to sell in that 30 sec if you're good enough.

And since you're a marketing student, be practical. No agency is gonna run a 1.5mins ad, especially Air Asia. You should know how much it will cost. Go and watch some TV, there's no ad longer than 30secs.

yaya, yihwen, you are right... we miss out the time that going cost by the co. bcoz we a are using slice of life appear, and wan to audience have a perception that this is a story, not an advertisement, coz normally plp will avoid the ad, during commercial time, so that is the reason we wan to lengthen the time and let them have a problem recognition to have a perception that, when you want to travel in short period of time choose A.Asia

Overall i think the concept is not bad, but in my point of view, it really bad in production, the entire story drag too long, if u intended to did a commercial, u already fail. should make it within 20 secand, very poor in production.

Dun copy visual here n there, obviously u did it. Poor result !
