It was great fun and legendary setting, just three months before "Teen Spirit" came in the American Billboard. I was lucky to see them playing many times as well in 1989 Nighttown, Rotterdam, also here on Ein Abend in Wien which had a great programma. At the end of that European clubtour 91 they were playing Melkweg Amsterdam in december. great last concert in Holland still underground band, before they really broke through in the mainstream.

You are right, i just look at mine recordings, and it was in paradiso 25-11-91, but then the concert at melkweg was even before it, anyway i saw them at nighttown rotterdam, pukkelpop Hasselt, Abend in wien Rotterdam, Melkweg Amsterdam, Paradiso Rotterdam. So logic that i mix the dates up. And that time i was fucking long way spaced.

Kurt said that the first time he tried heroine was in '89. He also that he used it here and there, every few months. It wasn't until around Nevermind was released that he began using it frequently as a quick fix to his stomach problem, especially while touring. Kurt did drink. While recording Nevermind he drank almost a fifth of jack a day. He did not drink on heroin but when he was off of it he would drink heavily. Its the truth Krist even says so. Kurt was an alcoholic when he wasn't on dope.
