I was privileged to have seen Ms. Smith, way ack when at the Mark Taper Forum performing "Twilight" and was captivated. She is a national treasure, that I wish more people had access to her works.

well, I'm not white, I don't look down on black people either. I love rock music, which I've always considered as an African-American music form, thats its root, anyways.
