I had this procedure done. No, it doesn't hurt, yes, it heals quickly. No, they don't put you to sleep. They numb it ( a little pain here), and snip it just like she says. 20 minutes and you're done. If you need the procedure, just do it; it's not a big deal. It made my tongue about a quarter to a half inch longer. I was hoping it would be longer. :)~~

wierd .. i was just talking to my friend about getting my tongue pierced (because i couldnt stick it out hardly at all) .. which i wasnt to impressed with (for obvious reasons) .. and aparently this makes it near impossible to get your tongue pierced so i was gutted ... but i read about the whole tongue snipping thing .. (sounds a bit painful) but yeh and i found this .. did it make a big difference then as im realy considering it
