And this gt500 is not a 2011 model...its more 2008 or 2009. Those mustangs were heavy as fuck as i said earlier. I am not saying anything about the new 5.0 because those are actually decent sports cars, instead of the unaerodynamic 2008 model ford mustang which is as aerodynamic as my house and uses a live rear axle.

I actually drive on the track, (you know, where you turn left and right?), and the GTR BLOWS the GT500's away there. In a straight line, yes the GT500 is a lot faster. It also has two more cylinders and a bit more horsepower. Each car weighs close to the same. Each one has it's strengths. Just watch the video instead of trying to say that American cars are always best, which always seems to happen in these videos.

the biggest problem with drag races is that is not what the GT-R is built for, it is built for the track. you get those two cars on a track the GT-R will walk all over that mustang... However I will give it to the Mustang in a straight line it is a beast.

@antonio0112 its possible you should pay attention to trap speeds on a 1/4 mile and less on times. on a role the factor will be horse power vs horse power. from a dead stop you got AWD vs RWD. so times will be different. if shelby's trap is faster then you know the cobra is a faster more powerful car on a roll or a longer race. a stock Gtr traps at 118 mph with a low 11 sec, gt 500 traps 118 with a low 12 sec. im sure with full slicks and one hell of a driver these to cars would be close in 1/4
