In australia that would have cost nothing or close to nothing....I had one cut out of back which i went to get checked then was removed at another time by scalpel for total cost of $0. Another time i had maybe 10 moles removed in about 5 min with liquid nitrogen and not one grew back for cost of $12...Im sure some you had removed could have been done that way as scarring is reduced . If you can get liquid nitrogen treat yourself by freezing for around 20 sec
@surfer21 We get to see the entire gamut through the comments here. From free in Australia, to reasonable in Japan, to exorbitant in the USA. Thanks for the comment!
@surfer21 Edogawa-ku now. But I lived in Fukui for 20 years, waaaay out in the mountains. I'm a country boy since living there for a huge part of my life. All of the conveniences of Tokyo and there are tons, really have no interest to me. The biggest thing is I can't hop on my mountain bike and just ride anymore. I strongly dislike city riding.
to be honest i didnt even notice the moles on your face. the back one was bit though from looking at the jar thing. but $775 is a rip off!! just for cutting moles out, thats rediculous.
cool toilets , i've always wanted to go to that country but known my luck the big earthquake they are due will happen while i'm there!!
Geetar - Thanks for visiting. That would have been the total price without insurance, but with the Japanese insurance system, I only needed to pay 1/3 of it. In fact, I think in the USA, removing only 1 mole costs about $250 or so...
The big earthquakes are due any moment, and have been for years. You might as well come along for the ride! It would be an adventure of a life time!
Sad to hear you had a bad experience, but a couple of things you need to know. Age has nothing to do with it, period. Some of the best nurses I have known are literally 70 years. They are the old battle axes, but they really know their shit. I would take an experienced older nurse anyday, over a young tart with a nice ass, who probably JUST got out of nursing school...
Also, that's uh pretty cheap for having two moles removed off of your face. So the procedure for two sites is $1,000. That's not bad. Some people pay more depending on where they go.
It does sound like she was being kind of hurtful to the procedure, but did you complain? If not, then your at fault. That's right, you. Same as the last guy who didn't say anything. *shrug*
You should say something. Nothing will be done about it, the next guy will suffer BECAUSE OF YOU, and the problem will never end. For all you know the doctor wants to say something... I know you are not a health care provider with the way you reacted, but being from the trade for over 7 years I think saying something to the doc would be doing the right thing. It's not like you are going in there to "get them fired," but unless you do it, you may find yourself in her "questionable" care again.
Ummm... well, I did at the very time when he was cutting into me say to him directly that I didn't appreciate the fact that she put the music on in such a situation. It was taken care of then. But you do have a point. Well taken.
I first came here teaching English. I left. I came back teaching English. Then I switched to teaching English. And then I switched to the eyeglass industry selling titanium to manufacturers around the world. And then I branched off on my own and still sell titanium and other materials around the world, but I also do consulting for companies that need help with their business in Japan (and out). Thanks for asking and we all have noses, so your question is perfectly acceptable!
yay for noses, that sounds pretty profitable. good look in your financial future in Japan. I'm still very young ( 16ish ) but still, it sounds like something that might be worth looking into for me.
LMAO, Oh noes where I live gas is way to expensive for cars psh I'm willing to relocate to the local area for school before i spend 4 dollars a gallon on gas. and as for lung cancer it isnt heredetery nor do i smoke ^.^ james is in the clear
In a word or two? The anaesthetic ran out during the operation, right when the doctor had pulled all of my intestines out and was searching around for my appendix which wasn't where it was supposed to be.
Imagine feeling your innards being yanked out of your body. Not a fun experience!
because I want move to Japan in the next two years and your videos is not just funny and interesting videos but its also help me to orientate Japan, you make very good videos in differents situation and places like in the post, hospital, restaurant and home with your wife and your Japanese friends with very good explanation and funny story , your videos is kind like Discovery channel Program so please keep like that
Thank you again for visiting. I am glad you enjoy my videos. I continue to endeavour to bring "my world" to the rest of the world so that everyone can see what really goes on over here.

Anything is cheap compared to American medicine. The nurse was a bit scatterbrained. That was the problem. It was her personality.

Yes. Get a university degree. Otherwise you will not be allowed this opportunity.

Precisely, Especially since I'm fortunate enough to have money to pay for college.
