Dude, why did you organize it this way. First of all, to prove the point you should have played a wider range of characters (i.e. Ken, Sagat, Blanka plus Chun-Li, etc.) and different people. Second of all, mirror matches don't really highlight the point.

@kotokid31 Safe jumps lose to EX Kara. Late jumps and non meaty XU lose to fuki. Also best option... Uh she can block lol. Just because she doesn't have a SRK that doesn't mean her wake up is weak. It just means you don't have the luxury of a one size fits all AA. Makoto just has to choose the right option for the situation....
I tried learning Makoto several times, and could never time that instant J QCB+K right. I also sucked at landing her command grab,but I wanted to learn her soooooo bad just BECAUSE everyone said she was fail tier.
I think that AE Makoto is the most balanced character in the game, good pressure tools, one of the most damaging attack gam0 if well used, but shitty very weak defensive option.

i thought your 28 win streak was with different people..... turns out its with 2 same people. both whom obviously were weaker than you. its not about makoto being stronger or sucks, but the skills of the player.

Now that arcade edition is out all the makoto haters are crying. Makoto is top tier now with all the new balances and is better the most of the roster now.
makoto does suck...the person using chun is not very good,...some who really knows how to play with chun would've destroyed makoto....Makotoa has too many disadvantages. the absolute oly way to have a chance swith makoto to keep very close to your opponent. really experienced players in thi =s game destroy makoto users
@themossadman dude are you serious? i know makoto is horrible and i don't even play with her. She has no ways to escape pressure, and a piss poor wake up game. Also, no projectiles and she is extremely easy to predict. oh, and hard learning curve. the only thing she really has going for her is her INCREDIBLY fast dashes and that damn commando punch. other than that barely any low-mixups-see my point. I main guy and even i can beat mokotos on a daily basis - at least most of them.
@themossadman cr LP st LP st MP is a way better block string, cr MP is too slow (good thing is that it moves you a little forward) AND can be beat easily by random shoryus since you have much more time to react to the blockstring, another thing that I feel weird about is why are you trying to use cr LP as an anti air ? cr MK gives you such great mix-up opporotunities .. it's all good though , i like your footsies , mine are worse, but if you are european we can have a few matches :]
