Shit...! this is definitely one of the best vids in the fest, very well done my man. I would've liked a little bit more of the footage, specially from George Wimp Bush AKA DICK HEAD!!! XD
When I hear this particular sound I think of a man or perhaps an elderly woman reminiscing about the past. I see her summing it all up. I see the end hitting her like a flash of unbearable light that is at the same time comforting. The noise this track makes creates the feeling of peace and closure. Peace and closure as far as my mind interprets it at least.
This is such a worn out formula. Take images of peaceful American suburbs, cut to war footage, cut to children, cut to war footage. The first time it was done, it was jarring and disturbing, and pointless. Now it's just a rehashed formula. There are plenty of countries that don't go to war much where people build houses and children play. Yes they have cars and yes they eat breakfast. There is little connection between the two kinds of footage but filmmakers keep wearing out this formula.
I think this is a relevant and powerful entry in the contest. I like the footage you chose, whimsical, carefree, and terrifying. If I would change one thing, I'd say remove the one cartoony clip of traffic going by.

That was pretty good, even if it was stock footage (mine is the same track but I filmed it myself)

Great work. Both terrifying & poignant. I love this song. The old imagery works really well.

100% correct. It's well done, granted. But this is formulaic at best.
