This song played constantly at a bar in Manila while I was there doing some down time. Still raises the hair on the back of my neck today.

CCR was a hot rocking band in San Diego too. I thank God every morning that I am still alive and I think of my friends who lost their lives during the "war". I had to console my friends fiance when he was killed in a helicopter crash near Hue. Damn a war. To all my buddies in HSL-31 and HC-10 may you go in peace.

Funny thing about this song.I've never heard it and then all of a sudden this summer, I heard it like three times in one day.Then I was driving to Ft.Riley to visit my son, and this song played on about four of the stations in that area one right after another.Now,I haven't heard of it again until now when I looked it up on UTUBE. Love this song.I'm not a big CCR fan, but love this song.Funny how radios do songs like they do.Its either feast or famine with them.
