  • This was the song. I am from the caribbean and when we played it using steel pan, it was a dream. So soulfull.

  • Not neccesarily lost. This Donna song gave hope to many. it was so deep that it crossed all boundaries. Each of us has one life that we know of. Listen to the end,xxx

  • does anyone else notice that all youtube music has little skippy glitches in it? annoying but most likely on purpose by the big record wigs,. : (

  • It remaned me of someone i use to love,he died in 2009,May his soul rest in peace, i will always love him!

  • i remember my fitth striptease in a club

  • This album... It's so classic. And underrated! Just hear the brilliant production, the fantastic pop/dance songs, her voice... everything on this double album is great, something you cannot say about a lot of Double albums out there.

  • "I gave up, I broke, it's true, still there will always be a you....." At some point, the relationship said, "Give" and I did, and then; that's all there was. I get it Donna at 46, and I first heard it when you put it out when I was 14. Took me that long....funny how True Art evolves from a Song- to a lived experience, huh? You should really do this in concert, for every event you perform. Sing the words, and let them absorb into others. This was very healing, at the end. LoveU, and thanx!

  • this song brings back so many HAPPY memories! Donna Summer is iconic!! I love this woman!

  • More than thirty years since I first heard this song (“There Will Always Be A You”) and still counting, and still I could never tire of hearing this song, nor the rest of the entire album that it first appeared upon (“Bad Girls”).Thank you so very much for posting this Donna Summer classic. • I think if an angel sang it would sound like Donna Summer. I still have this album on vynil. I inherited it from my late and beloved father who passed away almost 7 years ago. he used to play this song and the other 2 mesmirising ballards; 'All through the night' and' On my honor' throughout my chilhood. These song have haunted me forever, such sweet and hypnotically beautiful songs. I always remember my dad everytime i think of or here this song.

  • Finally! I've been looking for this song for years.

  • See my comment below. Now, I am living on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, 10021. God, I love New York.

  • The best disco album ever! so many hits, even the ones she did not release. I left this album in FL over 30 years ago. Gotta find it on CD!

  • Reminds me of my uncle playing this 8-track at a family bbq in 1979...I made him play it over in over..great memories

  • This is one of my all time favorite Donna Summer songs.

  • It's all in the voice boys and girls! Study from BAD GIRLS (Casablanca-1978/79) KICKS ASS!!!

Donna was the "Queen of Disco," but she was so much more Listen to HER SONGS

she is also a very gifted SONGWRITER!!!

The best is simple talent... Diana has it, Natalie has it!, Aretha has it! Patti,Dionne, and of course Janet and my Idol Michael Jackson!!

They got the goods! It's a God given gift! and you don't "get it," watching American Idol!!!

Yeas, Donna, you can teach the kids a thing or two!!!

  • this reminds me of my youth in Attawaugan, CT. what a God awful wretched town. Since then I have lived in Montreal, boston, Bethesda, MD (near Washington, DC), and next year I am moving to Manhattan. ......God loves me after all.

  • Every track on the album "Bad Girls" is a gem. That's impressive, considering it's a double album.

  • Great song

  • If I had to choose my Desert Island discs, this track would be one of them. One of the most heart-wrenching, romantic and deeply felt songs of all time (for me). Tears stream down every time I hear it/sing along to it. The whole Bad Girls album was/is awsome. I took it from my parent's music collection years ago and have loved it ever since. Donna Summer is incredible with such a unique tone and vocal range. Thank you Donna!

  • I was 7 when this LP came out, I still own it in it's orginal form...I have serval CD copies of it yes, but sometimes I just pull that LP out and give it a listen. Donna Summers for me was/is a true DIVA. I have loved her since I first hear Love to Love you, when I was four. I Didn't quite understand the meaning of that song then, but I loved it!! I Saw her a couple of years ago in Albuquerque she was great!!!

  • This song will ALWAYS be a highlight in Donna's career.

    Simple, beautiful, timeless.

  • This song brings back strong memories from my childhood...It makes me feel like maybe that's what love is all about... I can't stop listening to it.

  • I dont know who remind me, somebody who make me believe in friendship, and I will never forget you !!! thx for this song subele rul !!!

  • just love this song, it takes me well back, thanks for posting it !!

  • Wow! This is a lost gem of a song. This album was the embodiment of the disco scene. This was my brother's favorite song. For the quiet guy that found his confidence out on the dance floor, I thank you. Sadly, he died of AIDS in 1992. Songs like this help to remember him as the happy guy this music made him. THANKS!!!!!!

  • @wurtele5 I am so sorry to hear. May you find comfort in song and courage and strength in god!!
