I lived in a warehouse known as the Unarmed Underground Art Center (UUAC) for a few years, among a revolving door of artists, writers, poets, slackers, dreamers, and renegades. This pivotal experience changed the way I think about living. At the moment, I sleep in a tent, under the stars, and love it. Once you step to the edge, the world you left loses it's appeal. Keep The Colony going. It is inspiring to my generation.

Infection isn't instantaneous, it would've taken days before Mike's injury became septic and life threatening. Plenty of time for him to cool down and ask for help from a trained professional properly.

I don't recall anyone screaming at Mike to finish a weld.

Thanks for the reply. You're right that in a civilized society women are equal but in a collapse we can't keep thinking that way. I would have liked the experts to, at the very least, make note of that fact.

The main survivors aren't actors, they are real people. Only the people that meet them are actors. If you've heard of the Harvard prison experiment, even though they know that they are not actually in an Apocalypse situation, they still will act te same way they would have.

most of the people you see are truly not actors but they are being given "strong guidelines" to what they should do and yes every other person you see on the show is an actor and they are given specific directions. on a side note i think that the participants do know when they are going to be attacked and they know that people are coming cause would you really build a gassifier if there were solar panels somewhere else in the "sanctuary"
