The more you study the bible, with current theology, the less you love people and the more you hate while at the same time you are convinced you, yourself are loving God more than ever. If people actually understood what they were reading they would LOVE more and HATE LESS. and they wouldn't lie all the time in claiming they love... when their love doesn't look like Jesus or 1 cor 13 at all. nor do they show mercy, they are all about sacrifice and rules.

@stupaod jesus nailed the law to the cross. all of it. Including what was written on tablets of stone. We are no longer judged by the law. we are judged by Faith. And even then Jesus paid the price for all sin for all people for all time and He alone has the keys to heaven and Hell and HE alone has authority to Judge and will judge according to His own finished work and MERCY. only those who show no mercy have the most to worry about as per Jesus specific word on the subject.

What must we do to be saved?

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved and thine house.

"You may be saved in the next 5 minutes, you may be saved in the next FIVE WEEKS"

This is false doctrine, that you have to somehow prove yourself worthy before God

before he decides to save you. If you believed the gospel, you have no reason to doubt your salvation.

The word of God doesn't agree with Paul Washer.

What Paul W. preaches is just Calvinism dressed up to look and smell nice. He says there are no carnal Christians - not true. He says salvation is proceeded and followed by repentance and a growing in holiness - not necessarily true. You need the milk of the word. Buy a King James Bible and study, study, study! Remember, no preacher will ever replace studying the word for yourself.

@dante1613 you know what here is another verse from hebrews Heb 10:14 For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified. and 1 john 3 is talking about continuing perpetually and blindly in sin, which someone who believes can never do. everyone sins, daily, constantly, even you buddy. If it wasn't for the total cleansing of Jesus Blood no one would get in. It is because of the "narrow road" that Jesus had to die so that MANY could be saved without the road.
