@4wildej I have to sing this song with my bf in an upcoming recital he goes all sorts off flat. =] but he is overcoming it by doing scales that are above and below his normal range to adapt his voice to the strain. =] hope it works 4 u <3

I am a 15 year old boy

who is playing Sweeney in a soon production.

my girlfriend has to sing this

she got very scared when i was able to hit the notes

including the top G

and then sang the bass to the ballad of sweeney todd

though i must admitt when i sing high

i go rather flat

and my voice loses its power

any tips?

i did think it sounded a little flat, but with a little polishing up, i'm sure you'll be absolutely brilliant. also, you get a plus for actually doing the high note. way to go!

Some of the higher notes are pretty flat, and this should be sung with a lot more vibrato. But for not having taken any lessons, you did well! The natural talent is very much there. You could really benefit from some formal training to expound on it.
