Faith did the exact same thing when her husband won an award over her. she was joking. and carrie saw the video,Carrie and Faith are great friends. Carrie said she could see she was joking. if people don't know Faith and her dry humor by now,you don't know her at all. she was cutting up afer the camera went off and all her friends were there. Martina was the one who called Faith on her cell and told her people took it the wrong way. Faith was sick over this for over a year.

1. What does length of time have to do with whether or not someone is a better singer? Every artist is "new" at some point.
2. Carrie Underwood has three albums out. Faith Hill has made at least six, so I'd say that she has a lot more than "20 more songs than Carrie."
3. Faith Hill is about as "real country" as Carrie Underwood is, since they're both on both the country and pop charts.
I prefer Faith's music to Carrie's, too. But at least Carrie is still somewhat humble.

It is unfortunate that people do not know how award shows work The nominees are told who the winner in the category will be well before the show starts. The record companies trade votes to have artists they want to win certain categories. Faith Hill was not upset that someone else won, but that she was told that she was going to win. Of course, she cannot tell the world how award shows work, and destroy the award show illusion. The record companies would not be pleased.

Faith Hill's raw reactionary moment was caught live on video. Faith's anger and initial astonishment was real. All the other women in the category were upset but they hid their anger. Carrie Underwood is good and she is beautiful. Faith Hill is gorgeous and by far the better singer. Many things are political. I don't believe Faith Hill was jealous - just pissed off. It doesn't take away from anything from Faith Hill.
