@sworoopjt1 ...come to a belief in Him unless He awakens you first and gives you ears to hear, because you are spiritually dead in your sins. Dead people can't hear anything. That doesn't mean we don't spread the gospel. We don't know who has been spiritually awakened to receive the Word, so we preach till we drop and let God do His work. We may never reach a person who is spiritually awake to hear us, but that is not up to us that is up to Him.

@sworooptj1 we dont know who the elect are,,,we are told to preach the Gospel to everyone,,,you know some calvinists believe that in addition to the elect GOD can still chose to save those who show sorrow for their rebellion,,,and he can save anyone he pleases

If it is not for man to decide if god exists, and what he is like. . .how has Mr. Piper decided that the god of the Bible is the one true god? He is literally preaching that we are to only accept and not to weigh out our options. So really, Islamic fundamentalists born in Islamic countries are following Mr. Piper's teching well, but in doing so - according to Mr. Piper - they would be damned to hell. But, then again, if they weren't elect then there was never any hope for them anyways - sad.

@KDH1288 Huh? God does exist regardless of whether man believes in Him or not. God doesn't need us to believe in Him or worship or do anything for Him. He is completely fine without us. The God of the Bible IS the One True God. Mr Piper hasn't decided this. He doesn't make the call. There is only one Truth bearer and His name is Jesus Christ. And if He doesn't know you, you WILL burn in hell. You don't have to believe it, it makes no difference. Truth is Truth whether you believe it or not.
