Bravo! I am on my way to watching all of the parts of your tribute project. Very glad to see "Space Junk" included in this one! Thank you. Though it lacks the harmonic heart which makes it so moving... one of my favorite chord combinations.... Well I'm still on my tromp to find "That's Good" exhibited somewhere. I can't believe it'd be so hard to find.
you know, "Blockhead" Bob 1 wrote the music 4. when he showed mark the music he said "Call it Blockhead whatever you do." The reason why is because bob 1 saw a medicine commercial where the sick's heads were Blockheads
That would be "Too Much Paranoias". A little hard to tell because the guitars are mixed somewhat oddly in the studio version. But some live recordings kind of indicated to me what it should sound like (the 1978 France video on YouTube is an example).
I'm 44 and I've never heard anyone play DEVo the way you do. It sounds absolutely PERFECT. You are extremely talented and wouldn't be surprised if you had a long and fruitful music career ahead of you.
GREAT Stuff, man! Bob Mothersbaugh is one of my faves; He really incorporates a lot of old R&R riffs with unforgiving tone into Devo's sound, and you caught it! What's your rig's setup for that sound? I'm not even sure what kind of guitar that is!
Wow, you are really talented! Makes me want to pick up a guitar myself. That or figure out songs on my own on my keyboard. Thanks for the inspiration. Duty now.
i no..i have been trying this and trying that untill i got it correct...i play 3 instruments..(bass,guitar,synthesizer) so when im gonna learn a song..i learn all 3 instruments..so i get confuzed..alot...lol..but yea..thank u..i can wait untill u can give them 2 me cause i can imagine how busy u are..when ever ur ready is fine 4 me
I'll try and make some, maybe, when university homework isn't on me. Devo uses a lot of major chords, and it's sometimes hard to discern which "form" the chords run in, so I just shoot blindly sometimes.

Let's see what I can tell you about the setup:
-guitar is Epiphone Sheraton II
-signal sent through a Zoom G1 effects pedal set to one of the presets (I think #29)
-amp is a Traynor YCV40 set to 'clean'
Basically all the guitar stuff I have access to in my home. I forget what the bass is called.

Is that a comment or question? If the latter, yes, 6:30 to 7:00 in the video is the solo from Beautiful World and some of the last verse.
