  • I'll check into your app. for our use. Thanks.

  • The resin in the paint is probably a product called F10 from Rohn and Haas. It is a thermoplastic resin that moves at about 170 degrees F. Your water temp would have an effect on it. For more on what we are doing with water blasting (and the water temp has a major impact) see save freeway murals dot com.

  • I see from your site you are using strictly high pressure water blasting, and the water temperature will definitely affect your production. However heat has ZERO effect on production using wet-abrasive equipment.

GEOBLASTER® combines water and abrasive in the pressure pot, it is much safer, faster and uses a tiny fraction of the water. GEOBLASTER® does not require potable water, and uses .20 gal/min, your high pressure washer uses 4-5 gal/min, huge d difference during a 60 minute blast.

  • What is the temp of the water?

  • @bestartdoc

The water temp is completely and totally irrelevant in the process of wet abrasive blasting. I have used the equipment in freezing temperatures, taken water directly from a mountain river, and there was absolutely ZERO impact on performance.

I know of what you reference and would be glad to give you a more in depth deconstruction of why his claim is false, feel free to contact me.
