The only problem I have with this mix is that Mother Brain really overpowers Parasite Queen. Mother Brain really interrupts Parasite Queen's song flow with it's own fearful tune. There are points where it syncs, but most of them feel very forced. It's a very powerful song, but it doesn't feel like a mix when they don't mesh very well.
I'm wondering if anyone would set the timer for Zebes to blow up DURING the fight with Mother Brain as opposed to after it....but then again, that might make it a more difficult fight.

He could go berserk when he encounters Samus, as his hallucinations revolve around her. and near the end of the game, Samus could get the Razia suit (named after the Razian Toxin, which is causing all this). the suit could make her immune to the toxin, but she only gets it at the near end so as not to spoil all the fun.

@robloxfan459 well, see, i was thinking that the virus could come in both gas and liquid form. the suit would allow you to move through gas filled areas and contaminated water, however Samus is still infected, just not infected enough to kill her immediatly. the problem is being exposed to excessive amounts of Razian is fatal, and would kill Samus if she inhaled too much gas, and the liquid would seep in through her power suit and infect the epidermis.

@robloxfan459 and when she fights Ridley, she hallucinates for brief moments about the day her mother died protecting her from him. Ridley could also be hallucinating about that very same thing.
@theninjamandude that would be a bit hard to contemplate. ridley didnt really feel remorse about her death, so that would be a bit problematic to work in. along with this, it would have to be a optional boss (can you really see a use for it outside of crowd control?) and that means the makes couldnt count on someone killing it, therefore exposing ridley and samus to it. even if it was a random spore flower, if samus killed the being (im calling it nightmarror) it wouldnt live. sorry about that:(

@theninjamandude and in addition, the ending would have a number of corpses surrounding a large, plant like humanoid that is pumping spores into the air. after defeating or avoiding her hallucinations, she sees the REAL threat, the massive humanoid platn beast creating the nightmarish recreations of her worst enemies. the poor corpses were the other humans driven insane by the hallucinations, makeing them easy prey for its hunger. she then fights it (with continuing images) until it finally dies

@InstantMix Exactly. The only major difference between the songs were their time signatures. The original MB theme is in 7/8 time, but the remixed PQ theme is in 4/4 time. Therefore, I had to edit PQ by removing a beat every two measures so the themes would keep up with each other.
AWESOME! Hard to dance to though. Ended up with an unbearably hurting stomach (FYI: I was doing just really fast jumps in the dance, with constant spinning.)
@alboix56 lol some people dance to songs about mass murdering and over throwing governments. It was like dancing to a hip hop song. very robotic and hard hitting drum beats.
I wonder if people know that Mother Brain was created by the Chozo as a planetary defense system that was too intelligent for its own good and turned itself on the Chozo and teamed up with Ridley, Kraid and the space pirates.
@nat6660 I'm sure anyone who read the manga will have been filled in on that tidbit. What I thought was particularly clever was the way Mother Brain was convinced that it was doing the right thing as a result of superior thinking, going so far as to ultimately betray the Space Pirates too, since they were just tools in an even greater scheme.

Unfortunantely, I'm starting to believe that the mother brain thing in other m is just a cutscene or flashback. Because I've seen the gameplay and having mother brain and the metroid in the game doesn't make sense in the plot so far. Afetr all, it is after super metroid so ya.

@theninjamandude that would be a bit hard to contemplate. ridley didnt really feel remorse about her death, so that would be a bit problematic to work in. along with this, it would have to be a optional boss (can you really see a use for it outside of crowd control?) and that means the makes couldnt count on someone killing it, therefore exposing ridley and samus to it. even if it was a random spore flower, if samus killed the being (im calling it nightmarror) it wouldnt live. sorry about that:(

@luigifan586 (< continued) as she goes to these areas, she begins to hallucinate, seeing monsters that aren't actually there. most of these are bosses from past games. she hallucinates Ridley, Mother Brain, Metroid Prime, Gorea, and even the 3 hunters that became corrupted, Rundas, Ghor, and Gandrayda, finally confronting a hallucinated Dark Samus.

@theninjamandude and in addition, the ending would have a number of corpses surrounding a large, plant like humanoid that is pumping spores into the air. after defeating or avoiding her hallucinations, she sees the REAL threat, the massive humanoid platn beast creating the nightmarish recreations of her worst enemies. the poor corpses were the other humans driven insane by the hallucinations, makeing them easy prey for its hunger. she then fights it (with continuing images) until it finally dies

@InstantMix Exactly. The only major difference between the songs were their time signatures. The original MB theme is in 7/8 time, but the remixed PQ theme is in 4/4 time. Therefore, I had to edit PQ by removing a beat every two measures so the themes would keep up with each other.

What I thought was particularly clever was the way Mother Brain was convinced that it was doing the right thing as a result of superior thinking, going so far as to ultimately betray the Space Pirates too, since they were just tools in an even greater scheme.

@nat6660 yea, i knew that from reading the manga... online! but, unfortunately, the manga creators shut down the websites for it in order to increase profits... but i thought that mother brain wasn't a planetary defense system, but rather an artificial intelligence to help the chozo run the planet because they were getting too old... and the chozo ALSO said something about mother brain being jealous of samus or something like that

Unfortunantely, I'm starting to believe that the mother brain thing in other m is just a cutscene or flashback. Because I've seen the gameplay and having mother brain and the metroid in the game doesn't make sense in the plot so far. Afetr all, it is after super metroid so ya.

I usually look for similar time signatures too, but to make this work the way I imagined, I was left with no choice but to edit Parasite Queen to 7/8 on each measure.
Yeah, that took some patience. I'm glad I did since I may have to do that to satisfy your Nightmare/Ridley request. (.....I'm not afraid.....)
