Well you have to take into to consideration that Relient K is a Christian band so therefore there will be Christians throwing Christian comments. I'm sure they don't like seeing Athiest comments just as much as you don't seeing Christian comments. So, with that being said, I love this song. :D

This is what I love about music like this. Just because a song *is* religious, that doesn't mean it has to be interpreted like that. You can take it either way, because it's meant as both ways. It can be about God, or it can be about yourself. It's just how you connect with it, and how you choose to see it. But either way, there's no denying the meaning behind the words, it's just how you apply those words to your beliefs. In the end, it's still a wonderful song with deep meaning.

Okay, tell you the truth, I didn't even know what "reprimand" meant, well I knew (past tence) but I forgot. So here's what Websters New Blahblahblah says, "rebuke" so I think what it means is the song is that his conscience rebukes him and he ends up confessing all he's done wrong and he blames it on his selfishness... okay well there was no point to my insight considering I basically copied the lyrics =)
