You'd think Harmony Gold would bring these game over here adn keep interest in Robotech up. They bought out 2 "decent" Robotech game. I have Macross for the Saturn and I bought VF-X2 for the PSX. I'm getting this game in a few weeks it looks awesome. VFX2 sucked.

If only this game was released here in America, if it wasen't for some stupid copyrights and the stupid licening companys this game would do great here. The only way to get this now is through ebay and if anyone is good at translating japanese this good game would be great.

well wouldn't this game be rather self explanatory whether or not you understood japanese? Like for example the gundam series on PSP is rather straight forward and this runs on same engine as those, everything looks similar too. Also if you knew the series and the story, the game wouldn't be so hard to understand.

for the robotech fans.Because of your beloved harmony gold alot of us fans of Macross and robotech can't get their hands on a wonderful gem like this.instead we got battlecry which really was a ripoff of the older (and far superior) Macross games and then that poorly made sequel.This is yet another reason why robotech should perish.....

same here.I started with robotech then I saw Macross Plus....anyway 1 don't have a psp 2. How can I import? I've never done that in my life.3wasn't the Cat's eye mission the escort mission and 4 no not butthurt just severly disappointed and quite jaded. Curse harmony gold...Curse them to HELL!!!

Importing's pretty simple, you just buy a foreign game. The easiest place to do it is eBay, or proper sites like Play Asia. It's piss-easy for the PSP because it's region-free, over half the games I have for it are Japanese

got this game a last year. i recommend this to any fan of the macross series as well as mech lovers. great gameplay, graphics and all. a bit glithcy but manageable. 9 of 10.

The next time they made this scene, I hope they use verse 2 of DYRL also. And replay the intrusion where Britai burst the main wall and escorting Macross through the steel superstructure, fly to the center (the legendary coordinates A133,Z165) Then When facing Bodogza, DYRL plays the bridge. And Lastly I hope they have Bodogza's "OOOOHHH!!!! PROTOCULTURE!!!!!" and "DDEEUAAAAAAAAKKKKK"

Otherwise, this remake gets 2 thumbs up. Nice work with the Gundam Engine.

Actually, Macross is the original Japanese anime that was edited and released in the US as Robotech.
